Lifelong animal lover
I was a vet tech for almost 20 years before leaving the profession for something a little less back breaking. I have been an animal lover my entire life and have never known life without a pet. I started pet sitting for family and neighbors when I was ten years old, and as a vet tech continued doing so for many years for veterinarians, friends, co workers, and clients of the hospitals I worked at. Currently in need of some extra income and would love to spend some time with your sweet pup who needs to be let out in the evenings or your kitty who needs an extra drop in while you’re away for a weekend. Please feel free to reach out with requests that it looks like my calendar may not be able to accommodate. Sometimes my schedule can be flexible!

As an ex Vet Tech I understand how much everyone’s pets mean to them and giving them safe and happy exercise and company is my main goal. Snuggles too, of course. If they want them. :)

She is the person that animals gravitate to and connect with, and my dog immediately adopted Megan as his person when he was able to spend time with her. Could not recommend Megan more highly.

Schedule
I work full time during the week, but am home in the evenings. Weekends and mondays I have some additional flexibility but that varies by day. I’m mostly available for drop ins, or routine evening activities.

- I’d like to know if your dog is leash trained and good with other dogs and people. Is your pet an escape artist? Fears and/or discomforts that should be avoided? Also if your dog is territorial towards people coming in and out of the home. All information is valuable when it comes to getting to know your pet. Is your cat friendly and easy to medicate? Or or do they just want to be left alone? All personality quirks appreciated.
