Depending on your specific needs, we can ensure your pet is given the same type of care as when he/she is with you. If it’s walking for a specific amount of time, type of play you want encouraged, treats, cuddles, resting time, etc - we can definitely work out a care plan that you approve of. Everyone cares for their pets differently and I want your experience to be unique and personal to your family. I do live in a condo, so if your fur baby needs overnight care, with your permission, I would bring them to my dad’s house (where I would be staying) in Oak Lawn (1.5 miles from me). His house is bigger than my condo and has a 6ft privacy fence in the backyard that would be perfect for exercise and playtime. He is also an avid dog lover - no dogs currently in the home. Our beloved Shakespeare recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and we’d love the opportunity to care for your pet. There would be no lack of attention and love. If you would like to chat with him or see the home your fur baby would be sleeping at, that can be arranged. If you need in home services, I’d love to chat about your pets routine.

A typical day
The day would be filled with the specific type of activity they need. High energy dogs = long walks; Senior dogs = a few short walks. Check out a nearby park and take time for your love bug to enjoy all the different smells and visit a fire hydrant. Fetch would be on deck for pups that love that game. We’d definitely make time for some of their favorite toys and games. With permission, maybe a dog park? Let’s chat!

I have taken care of dogs since I was 12 (small and large). They bring me immense joy and happiness. I have extensive experience with giant breeds. I raised my Bull Mastiff, Barnaby, from a pup and rescued an English Mastiff named Shakespeare (200 lbs of pure love). I am diligent and reliable. I know what to look for as far as health and emergencies. Barnaby was plagued with severe allergies so I know all the tips and tricks to make them feel better. I am cautious, careful, and compassionate. Your fur baby will receive lots of love and attention.

Megan, my daughter, has loving experience when it comes to taking care of animals. During Megan's lifetime, Megan has taken care of 4 dogs and currently has two cats. As Megan's father I got to witness first hand the living experience Megan provided to my 200lb. English Mastiff. Megan also taught me how to administer oral medication and apply both topical creams and ointment. Megan rescued her two cats when they were small and sickly but was able to nurse them back to health. Now the two cats are happy and healthy and have a place to call home. There's nothing Megan will not do for your pets. I know this because I have trusted and witnessed Megan for years with my English Mastiff. Meg has loved all animals since she was a little girl. She is an amazing pet mom, keeping them safe and giving them unconditional love (plenty of petting & caressing).
