Your personal keeper for your pets
My day job includes looking after a variety of marine animals and reptiles, not your usual furry friends. My family home was a bustling environment with what felt like a mini tribe of children and 4 dogs running around the majority of the time. With the career I am in and the way I have been brought up, I am very attuned to needs of various animals. The dogs I grew up were all varying breeds, all of which have very differing temperaments and needs. I have a great understanding of the importance of patience and additional reassurance some dogs may need when they feel nervous, threatened or just take a disliking to something, or all of the above! I understand how stubborn terriers can be with their need to sniff every single fence/post they come across so I will give them all the time and patience they need to be able to make proper use of their senses. I've spent many weekends volunteering at the seal sanctuary, learning all about the seal's personalities and the relationships, and the relationship between the seal and their trainer. It would bring me joy to allow your pets the time and the space they need to get to know me. And, to allow you the opportunity to not have to worry about them.

Safety, trust & environment
In your home: Your pets will get endless attention and love from me. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, giving them the time and patience they need to sniff around, and wee on every lamp post, bush, tree, and fence. Always travelling at their pace. For cats, I’m always respectful of their boundaries and will wait until I’m approached. When they trust me, they will gain all the love and play they need. I’m happy to attend to their litter trays and ensure everyone is fed and happy. In my home: I am currently living in a pet friendly flat Newquay. Apart from my fish tanks and gecko, I don’t have any other pets currently. In the next month or so, I will be moving into my own house with a fenced garden that backs onto a large field.

Megan is an absolute star. Communication was excellent, she came on a meet & greet prior and on the day, which was our wedding day, she was so calm & the dogs were relaxed & happy, whilst our pre-wedding nerves were frazzled! I wouldn't hesitate in booking Megan again, she is amazing, and the dogs love her x

Megan has been absolutely amazing !. Before we left for our holiday Megan came round so we could show her round and explain what we do and she made us feel really comfortable with trusting her with our kittens. She has gone round morning and afternoon to feed , water and sort out their litter and even gone further with cleaning up litter that has gone out the tray and also re-filling their litter tray with fresh litter . She has updated and messaged us daily with pictures and explains how they have been which is really helpful. I couldn’t recommend Megan enough , really trustworthy and will definitely be using her again in the future. Thank you very much Megan ?
Megan has boarded our cocker spaniel Rum & our cat Freddie whilst we have been on holidays over the last few years. We wouldn’t ask anyone else now as we know they are well looked after when in her care. Our dog becomes very excited when she sees Megan and is always happy to go with her. Megan is very good at keeping us updated on our animals well being, sending pictures of their adventures/play time and reassures us they are happy and safe. I would highly recommend Megan to anyone if they need a respinsibke, care giver to look after their pet.
Megan is a natural when it comes to looking after pets. She has helped look after my dog & cat for years and she's always been amazing. Taking them on fun and adventurous walks, knowing how they feel and what they want or don't want. My pets love her and are always so excited when she comes over. She is a very reliable person that will always make time for looking after pets or house sitting. And if anything when I come back home the house is cleaner than I left it and the pets have a nice shiny coat of happiness to them. I highly recommend Megan for your needs, she's great! :)
Meg made an incredible bond with my dogs, Coco and Bertha. quickly learning each of their personalities and connecting with them well. She's very professional and kind. when reaching out she was responsive and warm fitting the dog's needs. Meg was also calm around the dogs which helped them settle in and feel comfortable, which was appreciated. Will definitely be booking again :))

Schedule
My work schedule varied week by week. Working at a tourist attraction means that my weekend availability isn’t great but at least I have availability during the working week to help you out :) - Can offer basic dog grooming in your home with assurance that the bathroom will be left cleaner than when the dirty pup set foot in it ;)
