Hello! I’m Megan, a dedicated and experienced house sitter based in New York City. Originally from sunny Southern California, I moved to NYC to pursue my love of musical theatre. When I’m not out auditioning, taking dance class, or hitting the rehearsal studio, you’ll usually find me lost in a great book, catching up on Marvel movies, planning my next trip to Disneyland, or out exploring the city and finding fun activities with friends. I’ve been house sitting and overnight pet sitting since 2022, and since moving to New York, it has been the absolute best way to supplement my creative life while giving me the flexibility to care for homes and pets with total dedication. I take pride in being exceptionally easy to work with, communicative, and respectful of your space. Whether it’s strictly following your household routines, keeping things sparkling clean, or making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and pampered while you're away, I've got you covered (and you can always count on plenty of cute photo updates!). To give you complete peace of mind while you're away, I offer a full variety of services to ensure your home and pets are exceptionally well cared for: • Pet Care & Feeding: Making sure your furry friends stay happy, healthy, and on their normal routine. • Mail Collection: Keeping an eye on your mail so it never piles up. • Plant Care: Ensuring your plants receive the exact attention and water they need. • Winter Maintenance: Providing snow clearing services during the winter months so you return to a safe, accessible home. General Upkeep: Managing trash and recycling to maintain a clean and tidy environment. My daily rate is $10. I’d love to chat, meet your furry family members, and answer any questions you might have. References are always available upon request—I look forward to helping you!

Megan was a reliable dog sitter who cared deeply for our two reactive pups for over three years. She was vigilant and cautious, and we knew we could trust her with them around our dog-friendly neighborhood. She regularly sent photo updates when she stayed with them and checked in with us when she hadn't seen them in awhile. Our dogs are not just a gig for her, she truly loves them and wants to spend time with them.
Megan is amazing with our dogs, they both need medication and special food, and would always trust Megan to look after them. She is a true animal lover and a great communicator. I would recommend Megan to anyone looking to have their dogs treated like family.
Megan is attentive and reliable. She has looked after our pets on multiple travel occasions, always follows our instructions and gets along well with our cats and dog. We feel comfortable trusting Megan to care for them.

Megan has been absolutely amazing with my dog, Rutabaga. Rutabaga is a pit mix and can be reactive, so finding someone I trust with her isn’t always easy. Megan was incredibly patient and attentive to her needs, and she took the time to understand her rather than trying to rush or force anything. Rutabaga ended up becoming fond of Megan really quickly, which honestly said a lot to me. It was such a relief knowing she was comfortable with her and that Megan understood how to handle her. Megan was also great about respecting my time and my home. She was reliable, communicative, punctual, and always very respectful of my space. I never had to worry about whether things were being handled responsibly when she was there. I’m so grateful I found Megan and would absolutely recommend her to anyone, especially if you have a dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding. Rutabaga gives her two paws up! 🐾
Megan was an immediate hit with our dog, Reggie, and it was an easy choice for us to trust her with his care! She clearly loves animals and treated him like her own, filling his stay with lots of walks, endless pets, and nonstop fun. She also sent us plenty of photos throughout his stay, which gave us peace of mind and showed us how much of a great time they were having together. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would happily use her services again. If you’re looking for someone who will love your dog as much as you do, Megan is the one!

Schedule
I currently work part-time (4 days a week) at a restaurant in the city and my shifts are 7 hours long in the evenings, plenty of time during the day to hang out with your pets and also wind down with them in the evenings. I am able to fully stay with your pets each night of your booking and to house sit as well!
