Animals have been my whole life for as long as I can remember — I got my first cat at a year and a half and had cats well into adulthood. After joining the military at 18, I got my first puppy at 21 and have been rescuing ever since. Today I share my home with 2 cats and 3 dogs (my whole world!), and I volunteer regularly at local animal shelters. Since joining Rover, I’ve cared for senior cats, senior dogs, birds, frogs, puppies, and rabbits 🦜🐈🐾. My background with the SPCA and Humane Society gave me hands-on experience reading different temperaments and helping animals adjust to new environments — skills I bring to every booking.

I have a soft spot for rescue animals (clearly — it’s how I ended up with five of my own!), which means I’m not able to offer in-home boarding, but I’m glad to provide drop-in visits, house sitting, walks, baths, playtime, and lots of love. I treat your pets — and your home — exactly like I treat my own. Whatever your pet needs, just let me know and I’ll make it happen. I also have real experience with pet medical care: my cat Nyla has asthma, so I’m comfortable giving oral medications, topical treatments, and inhaler doses to both cats and dogs, along with ear cleaning and nail trims. My dog Pia Mia gets medicated baths every other week, and I provide enrichment toys for all my pets to help manage energy, stress, and anxiety — so your pet will get that same thoughtful care.

I’ve booked Megan multiple times for longer trips and couldn’t recommend her more. She’s incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, and always quick to respond. She did an amazing job caring for my cats, including managing their medical needs, and I always felt confident they were in great hands. I truly trust her with my fur babies and am so grateful for the care she provides.
Megan was absolutely INCREDIBLE! We were so nervous about finding the right sitter for our Chapo, especially since he can be reactive and very protective of his space. From the moment we met her, though, Megan made us feel completely at ease. What truly sets her apart is her patience, empathy, and genuine love for our fur friends. She took the time to understand Chapo’s personality and needs, made sure he felt safe and comfortable, and even went above and beyond by caring for his hygiene, health, and our home. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pet like their own, but that’s exactly what Megan does. We felt confident that Chapo wasn’t just being watched, he was being cared for and loved. We’re so grateful to have found her and can’t recommend her enough. Thank you SO much, Megan, for treating our Chapo like family!
Megan was simply amazing! Great communication, constant updates & pictures, kept our dogs and their area spotless, and most importantly treated my doggos with so much love and care! She even brought over her own treats to spoil our babies. Over and over again I would and will choose Megan! Amazing sitter and person!
