I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud cat mom to two cats of my own! Cats have always felt like my spirit animals, but I truly love connecting with all kinds of animals. Growing up, I had dogs as well as a bearded dragon, rats, a dwarf hamster, and fish, so I’ve always enjoyed the unique personalities and needs that come with caring for different animals. My approach to pet care is gentle, patient, and very respectful of an animal’s boundaries. I believe pets deserve to feel safe and comfortable in their own environment, and I take the time to let them warm up to me rather than forcing interaction. I love getting to know each animal’s individual personality, routines, quirks, and preferences. As a cat mom, I also have hands-on experience with more involved care. I’ve administered oral medications to my cats and have cared for a cat through surgery recovery, including closely following care instructions and keeping a watchful eye for changes in behavior or wellbeing. I’m comfortable being attentive to details and sticking to established routines. I’m currently a graduate student studying to become a couples and family therapist, and I think my schooling has made me especially observant, patient, and attuned to nonverbal communication; which definitely comes in handy with animals! Whether your pet wants a playmate, a calm companion, or simply someone reliable to keep their routine while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and respect I give my own. ≽^•⩊•^≼

Safety and trust are really important to me when caring for someone’s pet. I want pets to feel comfortable and secure in their own environment, so I take a calm and respectful approach and let them set the pace when getting to know me. I follow each pet’s routines and care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and any specific preferences or boundaries they have. I am also very respectful of my clients’ homes and treat them as I would my own. I make sure doors are securely closed, keep their space clean and tidy, and pay attention to anything that seems unusual with their pet or environment. My goal is for you to feel confident that your pet and your home are in thoughtful, reliable hands while you’re away.

Schedule
I’m currently a graduate student, so my schedule has some built in flexibility. I have classes Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, and occasionally on Friday evening and Saturday. Outside of those times, I am generally flexible and happy to work around your pet’s routine. I can also do evening drop ins on my class days when needed!

- Before caring for your pet, I think it’s important to know their usual routine, personality, likes and dislikes, and any special needs or quirks they have. I’d also love to know about feeding schedules, medications, favorite activities, and anything that helps them feel safe and comfortable. The more I know about your pet, the better I can make their time with me feel familiar and stress free!
