Safety, trust & environment

I provide drop-in services in an environment your pet/child/world is already comfortable and has a routine in. This includes treating your home/space with respect, feeding and refreshing water, cleaning the litter box(es), administering medication (if applicable), photo/video updates, and, naturally, plenty of play and love.

Information Megan J. would like to know about your pet

Please communicate any instructions for medication administration that your pet/child/world requires. You should also feel free to communicate their activity level, feeding schedule, established routines, silly quirks (e.g. my cat only drinks water out of the sink) and any questions you have for me.

A typical day

Earning an animal’s trust gives me purpose, which I'd achieve (or at least attempt to achieve) through calm and patient interaction, being attentive to body language and boundary-communication, and engaging with favorite toys and hobbies (including but not limited to looking out of the window with them, engaging in "conversation," and, for feline children, being really good at moving wand toys in an enticing, prey-like way).

Pet care experience

I inherited the animal loving gene from my mom, which is to say I grew up with cats and dogs, have a cat but desperately want another, and would treat yours as if they were my own.

Megan and Clare had a fun walk on a sunny summer day! I appreciate she made sure that Clare’s water and food were topped off before she left.

Megan, is extremely reliable, dependable and responsible. Most importantly she takes care of my dog and loves him as if he was her own. A quality that every pet owner wants for their dog.

Megan, was wonderful! Already booking her again. My dog loves her and waits in the window for her. She is on time and very reliable. She has all the qualifications we need plus she’s very sweet.
