A typical day
A typical day depends on the pet’s age, energy level, and routine, but I usually like to include walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, feeding, and plenty of attention and pets. For more active dogs, I enjoy longer walks, runs, and outdoor time when appropriate. For lower energy, anxious, or older pets, I focus more on calm companionship, shorter walks, and keeping them comfortable. I also make sure pets get time to relax and stay on the routine they are used to.

I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs as I am the primary caregiver for my family dog; but I’ve also helped care for my extended family members dogs and walked my friends’, coaches’, and teachers’ dogs while they were busy during the day or on vacation. Over the years, I have helped with feedings, walks, runs, hikes, grooming, vet visits, and playtime. Being around dogs in different homes and routines has taught me that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level. I am a very detail-oriented person who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs. I pay attention to their energy, habits, and comfort, and I truly enjoy going on walks and runs with dogs for exercise and enrichment. I understand that owners are trusting someone else with a member of their family, and I treat that responsibility with great respect and care.
