I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs as I am the primary caregiver for my family dog; but I’ve also helped care for my extended family members dogs and walked my friends’, coaches’, and teachers’ dogs while they were busy during the day or on vacation. Over the years, I have helped with feedings, walks, runs, hikes, grooming, vet visits, and playtime. Being around dogs in different homes and routines has taught me that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level. I am a very detail-oriented person who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs. I pay attention to their energy, habits, and comfort, and I truly enjoy going on walks and runs with dogs for exercise and enrichment. I understand that owners are trusting someone else with a member of their family, and I treat that responsibility with great respect and care.

I care for pets in my client’s home by following their usual routine as closely as possible. I pay attention to feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, exercise, and any specific care instructions so pets can stay stress-free in their own environment. I am careful with leashes, doors, gates, and home security, and I always treat both the pet and the home with respect. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care that helps pets feel safe and owners feel comfortable.

Megan was wonderful with our two small dogs and stayed with them in our home. She sent lots of pictures and updates, was very friendly, and treated our dogs like they were her own. We felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such great hands and would definitely book her again!

Schedule
I graduated with my masters this May, and currently work part time remotely. This gives me a very flexible schedule, and I am generally available every day. I enjoy being a homebody’d extrovert, and working on my laptop with a pet by my side.
