Pet care experience

I have total availability!

I have had dogs my whole life, and I really love animals. I don't work, so I can be around all the time as a regular to care for your pet, rather than having to use someone new all the time. I really enjoy being able to be around dogs. And the dogs have all had a good time with me :) I have three dogs at my house, and we have dog guests quite a lot. Some are older, and some I have had the pleasure of raising from puppies. I'm currently helping take care of a 13 year old dog. And I took care of a disabled dog who had paralysis in his hind legs, and I had to nurse back after spine surgery.

Our home was left in good condition but unfortunately we could see on the doorbell Camera Megan did not stay the night with him the first night. She did come back early the next morning to give him his scheduled meds but having someone with him was the whole reason in having a dog sitter stay in our home.

Megan was communicative at first and I was glad to have someone available during the holidays, since that is often a tough time to find sitters. She did a meet and greet a few days ahead of the in home sitting and was communicative up until the day before. However when the day came she missed the start time of the stay. I was flexible and messaged to make sure everything was okay, but since one of my dogs needs medication in a timely manner, I began to worry as 3 hours passed by. Rover contacted her directly and I finally got a response 4 hours after the initial time, then she still didn’t go to the house after hour 6 so I had no choice but to cancel. Thankfully I had a friend in town who was able to drop in and help in a pinch but otherwise this would have been a worse situation. I sincerely hope this was just a fluke in my case.

Not very happy. She's very kind but she's only a dog sitter and so many technical difficulties are arising. I do not wish to have her in my house anymore.

Megan looked after all 3 animals wonderfully, and the least friendly of the cats actually warmed up really quickly. The house was in great shape when we got back.

I wasn’t impressed. I received very minimal feedback when asking about status updates, with poor quality pics of the dogs. When I arrived home there was a stench of marijuana that hit me in the face. There were dirty dishes in the sink and my heat had been turned off. The dogs seemed oddly mellow. I would not recommend.

I just want to make sure the dog is small enough or well behaved enough for me to be able to control it lol. I'm only 5'3"
