Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve owned my own dogs for 21 years and can’t imagine life without them — they truly are family to me. Alongside caring for my own pets, I spent a year as a live-in nanny for a family with two dogs, including a senior dog with multiple health issues. My role included daily medication administration, gentle physical support on walks, and lots of patient love and attention. For the past three years, I’ve also co-shared a dog with my best friend, which has given me even more experience adapting to different routines and temperaments. I regularly help friends and local families with ad hoc dog walking, sitting, and pet care, and I take great pride in being reliable, compassionate, and completely devoted to every animal I look after. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, long walks, or special care for older pets, I make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and happy. The genuine love and care I bring means I treat every dog as if they were my own. Their wellbeing, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Our dog, Daisy, had a wonderful weekend with Megan. Megan catered for her every need in the most loving and attentive way. Nothing was too much trouble for Megan and she went to all lengths to ensure Daisy was happy and settled. Her location is perfect for dogs, surrounded by accessible fields which Daisy had plenty of running around in as well as longer walks she was taken on. Communication was excellent which made drop off and pick up very smooth and easy. Megan provided photos to re-assure us all was well. We would certainly recommend her and would have no hesitation in using her again.
I had the absolute pleasure of living with Megan for three years, and during that time, she became not only a close friend but an incredible support in helping me care for my dachshund, Blue. Her kindness, reliability, and natural love for animals made all the difference — Blue adored her from the start. Her natural warmth and attentiveness made a huge difference, and I could always count on her to keep Blue happy and safe, even when I was caught up with work or away. Whether it was daily walks, playtime or those cuddles on the sofa, Megan was always there, treating Blue with the same care and affection she’d give her own. Her help gave me peace of mind, especially during busy or stressful times, and I’ll always be grateful for the way she stepped in without hesitation. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely kind and dependable, and I feel incredibly lucky to have shared a home with her. Thank you, Megan — for being such a wonderful friend and for loving Blue like family.
Megan has always been absolutely fantastic with my little Pug. Whenever she comes over he is so excited to see her and he'll sit with her and only her until she's left. She's extremely responsible and caring and has a clear passion for dogs. Trustworthy and dependable - i'd happily leave my dog with her for any amount of time.

Schedule
I work shift work that takes me away for a couple of days at a time, meaning when I am at home, my time and attention is solely dedicated to your pets care.

Safety, trust & environment
I am happy to care for pets in my home or yours. I have a large, safely enclosed garden for them to play in, and live in the heart of the countryside, with lots of nature to explore together on fun walks. I can provide a completely safe environment inside and out.
A typical day
I love to dedicate my time and attention to your dog and their needs. My outdoor environment is surrounded by lovely countryside to stimulate all their senses, maximise exercise and energy release. Indoors I provide a cosy, safe environment with space for playing games, cuddles and relaxation. I will always strive to find the perfect balance for your dogs needs.
