I grew up on a farm in Montana and have been around farm, domestic, and exotic animals the greater part of my life. I have lived in Mcminnville since 2012 and have been professionally pet sitting since 2020. I live a couple miles out of town on some acreage. I have chickens and geese that are free-range please let me know if your dog has good recall to be let out freely. If leashed potty breaks are necessary that is fine; it is one of the things I like to know ahead of time. We have 4 indoor outdoor cats and if your dog is not good with cats just make sure you let me know so I can make arrangements to keep them separate during your pets stay. Down the driveway there is a pond and hills to roam (when I'm not covered in poison oak from carelessly wandering) I am experienced in animal wound care and can administer oral or injection medication. I do some grooming, training, and nail trims upon request for additional charges. I have worked with a leash reactive dog in the past where the owners were blown away by the progress made over just weeks of working together. I am very proud of Oakley's progress during our sessions and became passionate about teaching/training certain skills. Feel free to ask me anything, even for some good pointers or specific trainers that are my go-to's for advice.

Megan was very diligent about following our cat's treatment regimen, which required medication and early wake-up calls. She left the house in perfect condition and kept up frequent updates with photos. She can be counted on to follow through on any requested routines.

Schedule
My schedule is highly flexible and my personal routines are usually completed by 10:30am however after 9am I can easily move things around to accommodate that level of flexibility. I have a 16 yr old daughter who is always at the house so for boarding/day care we make a great dynamic duo to make sure you are always covered.

I live out in the country and have ample acreage. I have a 4 bedroom house, chickens, ducks, geese, and I do not have a fenced backyard, but there is plenty of space inside and outside

A typical day
I have property so if they are trusted off leash there are 10 acres with a pond. I also take dogs to Metsker Park and Ed Grenfell which are just up Baker Creek Rd. I do Riverside Dog Park as well.

- Do they chew? Whine excessively? Separation anxiety? Good with other dogs? Are they crate trained? What are your expectations for boarding/housesitting visits as far as time spent with your dog and away. Generally when I am house-sitting I only leave for a couple hours at a time and prefer not to leave at all unless I have an obligation because back and forth is EXHAUSTING! I'm very communicative if I have to be gone over a couple hours and if plans come up I will always run them by your expectations of my stay before I accept anything social outside of my stay. I also plan ahead contingency strategies for emergencies. I NEVER want to leave you having to scramble ahead of time to figure something out if something comes up. To date I have never had anything come up, but my dad raised me with a strong work ethic, integrity, and to value other people's time and expectations of a job and I take that seriously.
