My job is flexible, so I’m able to take frequent breaks easily to go on walks. I also am an early riser so can pop out easily in the morning for a potty break!

I don’t have a crate in my home and typically let the dog run around freely. Shoes, cords, food — anything chewable is kept out of reach so dogs don’t have a hazard of eating something they shouldn’t.

Information megan & Gabriel s. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet needs a mat to go to the bathroom. I do not tolerate pets that are not potty trained, so if you arrive with a mat « just in case » I won’t be able to accept your pet to stay with us. Additionally, please let me know about medication, food times, food portions, etc. Also any behavioral things you think are important are great to know as well :)
A typical day
Walking is a big part of my day, and considering I live relatively close to Central Park, I love to go for walks daily! I typically follow the energy of your dog and just make sure they are stimulated enough during the day to rest properly at night. Some dogs are more energetic than others, so it really just depends.

Pet care experience
My name is Megan and I’ve grown up with dogs ever since I was a kid. Growing up, our family had a little chihuahua and 6 cats — so I know a thing or two about what it takes to take care of a pet ❤️ My husband and I used to pet sit when we lived in Paris, and had a few recurring neighborhood dogs that we looked after for about a year. Since moving to New York recently, we’ve decided to pick up pet sitting again now that we’re more settled. I have a flexible WFH policy with my job, so it will mostly be me at home with your pet! My husband is in the office more than me and works from home only on Fridays. Our apartment is relatively big, which is perfect for small to mid size dogs. I don’t have a ton of experience with large dogs, so please note that we are unable to look after large dogs. I would say anything larger than a Shiba would classify as a little too large for me, so please take note before reaching out!
Reviews

Megan was a great sitter for Udon! Super communicative and flexible with timing when I ended up boarding Udon for the night. Highly recommend!!
Megan was great with my dog! Easy to talk to and schedule drop offs and pick ups. In every single picture she sent my dog looked absolutely cozy and happy (he’s a high energy dog so they must have had some really good walks). Would definitely book again (:

Megan was really lovely, very patient and understanding about my 18 year old senior dog. I really appreciated the updates on his well being and he was very comfortable during his stay with Megan & Gabriel!

Au top ! Megan m'a envoyé plusieurs photos tout au long du séjour et lulu a l'air d'avoir passé du bon temps :) je recommande !
