Patient and loving animal caretaker
I grew up with dogs and cats (and a turtle!) and have been trusted by family and friends to take care of their animals, due to my ability to bond quickly and diligently take care of all their needs. I have also been raising my little anxious dachshund Wiggles for 2.5 years, so I am familiar with the trials and special care required for anxious pups. I hope you’ll consider me as a sitter for your fur baby :)

I take care of my sausage dog at home (if you have a small trained pup, she might like to play with your doggo!), she is crate trained but sleeps with me and hangs out with me all day. I will play with, feed, and walk your pups (multiple times), and follow any schedule and instructions you have for taking care of them and minimize any stress along the way. I will clean kitty litter boxes and water bowls, feed the cattos, and make sure they get some scritchles (or space and company) while you’re away.

I contacted Megan to do a single drop-in to take care of my cats on a Sunday morning. I specifically asked if she was free in the morning and when she said yes I booked for 8 AM. I understand that Rover sitters are often an hour or two late and that is fine. However Megan still had not come at 12:30 PM when I reached out. She then “rushed over” and fed my cats at 1:30 in the afternoon. She told me she “thought the time was flexible.” I can’t imagine how late she might have been if I had not reached out. My cats waited 5.5 hours for their meal. Fortunately it was not very hot because I had also asked Megan to turn on the AC in the morning and, again, she didn’t do this until well into the afternoon. Living animals deserve to be comfortable and cared for, if people did not know that then nobody would pay for a pet sitter. To her credit, Megan did discount her fee and apologized sincerely. However I would not hire her again.
