I am currently in school online, which gives me a very flexible schedule. This allows me to provide consistent attention, regular walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of love throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet in my care, whether in my home or a client’s home. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, and any special instructions. In my home, pets have a large, secure backyard for supervised play and plenty of indoor space to relax. My own pets are very friendly and used to being around other animals, helping visiting pets feel more comfortable and welcome. I always monitor behavior, ensure doors and gates stay secure, and keep potentially harmful items out of reach. I believe trust is built through patience, consistency, and communication, so I send regular updates and photos to keep pet parents reassured.

Information Megan G. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their personality, routines, and needs. I appreciate knowing how your dog behaves on walks, whether they pull, are reactive, super energetic, shy, or nervous around other dogs or people. It’s also helpful to know about any triggers, fears, or behaviors I should be aware of so I can provide the safest and most comfortable care. I also need to know about any medical needs, health conditions, allergies, injuries, or medications your pet takes, including dosage and schedule. This helps me ensure they stay healthy and stick to their normal routine. I love learning about your pet’s favorite toys, treats, games, and comfort items too. The more I know, the better I can tailor their care to make them feel happy, safe, and at home. 🐾
A typical day
On nice days, I love taking dogs to the park or on fun outings so they can experience new sights, smells, and environments instead of the same walk every day. I’m big on enrichment activities for both dogs and cats, including interactive play, puzzle toys, and mental stimulation. I also make homemade, healthy treats for my fur babies, which visiting pets often get to enjoy too (with owner permission, of course!). We go to the park a few times a week, take occasional trips for pup cups or to the pet store, and spend lots of time in our large backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and burn off energy. Walks, fetch, and one-on-one playtime are always part of the routine. I focus on keeping pets active, happy, and mentally stimulated while also giving them time to relax and feel at home

Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Megan and I am 28 years old. I’ve been caring for and training dogs for over 10 years and have personally trained five dogs of my own. Currently, I have two dogs, a beagle (Homelander) and a corgi (Rossi) and I’m fostering a chihuahua (Loki) , so I’m very comfortable managing different breeds, sizes, and personalities. From high-energy pups to more laid-back companions, I understand that every dog has unique needs. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs get plenty of supervised playtime, enrichment, and exercise. Daily walks, outdoor play, and one-on-one attention are a big part of our routine. I focus on creating a safe, fun, and loving environment so pets feel comfortable and at home while their owners are away. I have hands-on experience with basic training, leash manners, potty training, and reinforcing good behaviors. I’m patient, observant, and great at reading dog body language, which helps me adjust care to each dog’s comfort level. Your pet won’t just be watched—they’ll be loved, exercised, and treated like part of the family.

Reviews

Rocky loved spending time with Megan! Thanks for the great care and attention you showed him!
Megan is great with animals. Very loving and attentive. She did great going on walks and taking care of our two dogs. One lab and one poodle. We left her to house sit for two weeks, when we came back the house was picked up and dogs were taken care of perfectly!
