Hi I’m Megan! I studied animal science at the University of Vermont so I absolutely love spending time with pets and I know a lot about animal needs! I am back at UVM for grad school, and excited to get some quality time with animals in! I interned at a vets office and I also worked with sled dogs (Siberian huskies) throughout college and did all of the care for them. I have experience raising puppies and caring for senior dogs, and love both. Specifics for what you want for your pet are always appreciated!

It was very last minute and communication was quick and easy.
Megan was prompt on communicating and photos she shared were helpful. Skittles loved her. Will highly recommend her.
Megan was timely and great with my dog who has some quirks while walking on leash. He seemed so happy to have her around to visit with him while I was out for the night!
My dog was so happy staying with Megan. Megan communicated a few times per day, sharing what they were up to and how he was doing.
Our frenchie loved staying with Megan! She took him for a nice long walk and we could see that he was so happy in all the updates we got from Megan.
Megan was great. Excellent communication and Harry loved it! Will be booking with her again soon

Schedule
I love to be active and go for walks and having a dog with me makes it so much more enjoyable! Whenever I have a pet they become my best friend for the time we spend together and I take their care very seriously.

I have gained a lot of experience through dog sitting and will always listen to your needs and expectations for how you want your pet to be cared for. I know how much love we all have for our pets so I make sure they feel loved while you’re away, and will keep you updated with lots of pictures and videos!
A typical day
I love to go for long walks or runs. I enjoy changing the scenery on walks and I always let them sniff and explore. I also love to snuggle and (if it’s okay with you) your pet would be allowed on all the furniture to snuggle and sleep.

- I appreciate knowing how much exercise they typically get in a day so that they can stick to their routine. It is also important to know if they need to be in a kennel while left home alone or if they are fine to roam the house. Whether they get along with other dogs or not would also be important to know. If they have any silly quirks or other needs such as allergies or preferences I would love to know that, too!
