I’ve been around dogs my whole life and cats for most of it — pet care has just always been part of my world. For the past 5 and a half years, I’ve raised my own dog, a German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix, from a puppy to adulthood, including working through his reactivity, so I have real hands-on experience with reactive and high-energy dogs. I know structured exercise, mental stimulation, training, and reading a dog’s cues, and I’m comfortable handling pets that need a more experienced, patient hand. Whether your dog is laid-back or comes with their own quirks, they’ll be in good hands with me.

Your home and your pet’s safety are always my top priority. I treat every house I stay in with the same care and respect I’d want for my own — securing doors and gates, following your pet’s routine closely, and staying alert to anything out of the ordinary. I’m comfortable, calm, and responsible in someone else’s space, and I communicate regularly so you always know your pet (and your home) are in good hands while you’re away.

Megan is awesome! Took my appointment last minute and went above and beyond. We got put on a boil water notice while I was away so she brought my dog fresh water to drink.
Megan has done an amazing job getting to know my dog Franny. Franny was a stray and does not like most people, especially strangers. Megan has always greeted Franny in a way that lets Franny lead with what she is comfortable with and Megan follows. The true sign that Franny is comfortable with someone is when she asks for belly rubs. Megan is one of the few who has been given the privilege of belly rubs for Fran. I would highly recommend Megan to care for any dog. She is loving and patient and always takes a dogs needs as a priority when around them.
Megan is an amazing, caring, attentive dog lover. She is a true animal lover, she connects and treats them like her children. Will never get tired of showing them all the love and affection they deserve.

Schedule
I’m currently work full time, primarily on first shift, so my afternoons and weekends are free! If your pup is ok on their own during the workday I would love to hang out with them in my off time!!

- I like to know ahead of time how I should greet your dog, as I think it’s very important to make a good first impression on them, so they aren’t fearful of me while watching them. I also would like to know any special needs or quirks your dog has, if they have a certain spot they don’t like touched, or if they have a tendency to resource guard.
