Im 27, I've been caring for pets since I was a kid offering $1 dog walks and pet sitting for my whole neighborhood! I grew up with big dogs and my family back home adopted their first rescue, Katie, and I miss being around her greatly! 5 years ago I became a true cat person when I adopted my orange girl, Sparrow and she has taught me all about loving a crazy cat! I have dog and cat sat, including drop ins, for neighbors, friends, Wag and Trusted Housesitter. I also worked at a dog walking service in Boston! I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages from puppies and kittens to cats a few years older than me! I have taken care of dogs and cats with medical needs and other special needs as well. I have been known as somewhat of a pet whisperer, but I'll let you see for yourself. I am always proud of earning the love and attention of the most shy and skitish pets by respecting their boundaries and, of course, bribing with treats! Being around sweet pets are always the best part of my day and I look forward to getting to earn the love of the dogs and cats of nyc! Also open to other pets such as fish, reptiles, birds, frogs, and smaller animals. I also am Covid Cautious and prioritize offering other immunocompromised, disabled, and covid safe pet owners access to safe pet care!

At clients homes, no matter the pet, keeping a safe and clean environment is extremely important to me. I always respect home owners requests and make sure I clean up after myself and your pet, leaving the place exactly how you left it. I have been trusted to stay in clients homes while offering pet care and hope to provide peace of mind while you're away! I am a "gentle parent" type of sitter, I pay attention to dogs and cats boundaries and body language to make sure they feel comfortable and safe in my care and that they're needs are properly met. Being the parent of a crazy cat myself, I am extremely patient and know that "problem/frustrating behavior" is almost always a pet trying to express something they need - and I always work hard to figure out what they're asking for, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable even with a new person.

I highly recommend this dog walker! They were reliable, caring, and took great care of Benji while I was on his walk. Communication was excellent, and I appreciated the updates and photos during each walk. It was clear that Benji was comfortable and happy with them.
Megin is an amazing walker! My dog, Brix, loved her immediately. Megin was thorough in getting all the information about Brix’s schedule, quirks, and habits before the appointment. She sent photos from the walk, and I felt very at ease that my baby was being taken care of.
