I am available anytime before 8am or after 4 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. However, my husband works from home so he has more flexibility if we are boarding your lovable pet.

Your pet’s safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities. With no other pets in our home, all of our love and attention will be focused entirely on your furry family member. I’m a former foster for both dogs and cats, so I bring plenty of knowledge and experience with different breeds, personalities, and special care needs. I’m also comfortable giving medications as needed. We have great walking paths around our neighborhood and a fenced-in dog park nearby, giving your pet lots of opportunities for fresh air and exercise.

A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, engaged, and comfortable while they’re with me. We’ll enjoy long walks on the scenic paths near my home and fun visits to the fenced-in dog park for safe play and exploration. For downtime or indoor fun, I offer enrichment activities like puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and simple hide-and-seek games. Whether your pet prefers energetic play or calm cuddles, I adjust to their personality and needs. I’m also experienced with giving medications and providing routine care, ensuring your pet feels loved, supported, and right at home.

Pet care experience
grew up with both dogs and cats, and animals have always been a big part of my life. For the past five years, I’ve fostered golden retrievers, which has given me experience with pets of all personalities, ages, and needs. I’m a teacher, and my husband works from home, so we have a very flexible schedule and can provide plenty of attention and companionship for your pets. We don’t currently have pets of our own, which makes it easy to focus fully on yours. We recently moved to the area, and I’m excited to start connecting with families and get my “pet fix” again. Your pets will be cared for with patience, love, and experience. Looking forward to meeting your furry family members! 🐾

Megan is a detail oriented, caring and attentive caregiver! She was the foster mom for my little goldendoodle Teddy when he was a puppy. She did a great job taking care of him, keeping him busy and training him on his first few commands. Teddy loved her soooo much, she was a great foster mom to him. Would highly recommend Megan to take care of your fur babies, she will treat them as her own!
Megan & Dan were the foster family for our dog, Finn, before we adopted him. He came to us potty trained, without any behavior issues and knowing basic obedience thanks to them and the time they invested in helping Finn be his best self. They have such big hearts and it shows in how they care for the pets they welcome into their lives. Highly recommend!
Megan was the foster of our now 4 year old golden retriever when we got him in early 2022, when he was six months old. She was a wonderful caregiver for this sweet boy who had been bounced around after starting his little life in a puppy mill. Our experience with Megan as we navigated how to adopt him from 7 hours away was seamless and it was clear that she loved this temporary family member like her own. She took wonderful care of him and kept us regularly updated on him, and was very careful that he not land in the hands of just anyone. We appreciate that now more than ever. I would trust Megan with any of my pets, anytime!
Megan has a giant heart for animals! She has been a dog foster mom through the years I’ve known her and has always taken utmost care of them from walking them to bringing them in to vet appointments, to training them, and loving them. Her communication is prompt and kind. I have had her watch our dog many times and my dog loves her. She would be professional and caring as a dog walker/sitter for anyone looking for a trustworthy person to care for their furry loved one!
