After owning and caring for dogs and cats all my life, both big and small, I am confident that I can be a great caretaker of yours! My name is Megan, and I work from home in Marketing. My passion for animals is truly why I am here, and your pets happiness and safety is my priority. I originally started on Rover because I was starting college and missed my dog and cat at home - and have since found a true joy in watching and caring for pets as if they were my own. I have experience caring for all sizes of dogs with a variety of temperaments. I am thankful to have a very flexible schedule as well, since I work from home almost full time. Whatever the size, age, and temperament of your best friend - I am already excited to meet them.

Making animals comfortable and happy is my specialty - whether I come grab a dog for a walk or stay with a cat and dog for a week at a time. With two cats of my own, I know how important it is to keep pets loved while the owner is at work or on vacation. I take time to speak with the owner about expectations and I love to send plenty of pictures and updates throughout my stays and walks. If you want to learn anything else about me - please ask! :)

Megan spent two night house sitting for us and our two doggies and was the absolute best! She was so communicative with us and sent so many photos which made us feel so much better while being away. We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better experience; she went above and beyond what we were expecting. She took care of our home and the dogs like they were her own. We can’t wait to use Megan again and could tell that the dogs loved her!
Once again Megan was the best Rover sitter for Gunner. She takes such good care of him and I think he wishes she was here daily.

Schedule
I can take breaks from work to come and walk your dog, and have experience staying at clients homes overnight with their dog and/or cat. I am happy to come check in on your pet(s), work from your place with plenty of breaks to play and walk your dog, or anything in between.

- I like to know behavior patterns, energy level, and whether they get along with other dogs and people. I also ask about favorite toys and treats so I can keep them happy. It’s important that I make sure to know if they can stop and “say hi” to other pets while on a walk!
