Cats: Which toys do they prefer? Would you like them to be brushed? Where does litter get disposed of? I sweep and do some cleanup for my cats, so if this is something you prefer in your home, it isn't a problem for me. Dogs: I need to know if your dog is friendly with other dogs or strangers. I prefer not to interact with other dogs/people until I am fully comfortable with a dog. I need to know if your dog has allergies or any tendency to eat things off the sidewalk - I am comfortable with dislodging various items from dogs' mouths. I like to take my time at crosswalks and intersections. I prefer to walk one dog at a time, but I am open to walking several dogs depending on their size and personality. I would also like to know your protocol for if your dog has a negative interaction with another dog or person. *I want to add that I am not available to sleep overnight at your house, but I can check in throughout the day
A typical day
Cats: Cats love to be engaged in the morning or evening hours with their preferred toys. Some cats enjoy being brushed. I like to engage cats in play for at least ten minutes and reward them with a treat at the end. Dogs: If there is a dog park or park nearby, I prefer to walk in those areas. I love to practice training dogs with treats. Street safety is a priority for me, especially as a cyclist, and I like to find less car-heavy routes for walking and commuting.

Hello! My name is Megan and I live in Hyde Park. I have two cats, Simone and Spicy Boy, who are wonderful. I've looked after a variety of animals from rabbits to doggos. I'm interested in connecting with HP neighbors who need a reliable cat sitter or occasional dog walker. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! *Please take note - I am unavailable for midday drop-ins on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Megan took care of our cat regularly for two weeks, and we couldn’t be happier with her help.
