Hi, I’m Megan! Lifelong animal lover, adventure seeker, and someone who genuinely believes the best part of any day involves a dog. I grew up with a black cat named Lucky and two Samoyed x Husky mixes who made it pretty clear early on that life is better with animals in it. I’ve been the neighbourhood dog walker, go-to sitter, and resident puppy cuddler for as long as I can remember — and over the last few years I’ve fallen equally hard for cats. I have a soft spot for higher-needs pets. I’ve cared for everything from leash-reactive large breeds to dogs with separation anxiety, and I genuinely love figuring out what makes each animal feel safe and settled. I take the time to do proper meet and greets, follow your routines closely, and stay curious about your pet’s behaviour throughout the stay — not just at the beginning. Owners of reactive or anxious dogs often tell me their pet surprised them with how quickly they settled in. A little about my background: I’m a naturopathic medical graduate — a four-year doctorate in holistic medicine with biomedical training comparable to medical school. It’s shaped the way I pay attention. I notice details, ask questions, and take the care of living things seriously. In practice that means: daily photo and behaviour updates so you’re never left wondering, strict routine adherence, and comfort administering both oral and injectable medications. Walks are real walks — I’m committed to my steps, so your dog will be too. I also take pride in leaving your home exactly as I’d want to find mine. I keep my client list intentionally small so every pet gets genuine attention. With my schedule opening up since graduating, I’m currently welcoming a few new families. That level of care extends to your home - I am clean, responsible, and have been independently living and maintaining my own space for ten years. When you return, you can expect to find your home in a better state than you left it.

Highly recommend! She was super friendly, professional, and communicated really well throughout. She came on short notice without any issue and was fantastic with our 72 lb boxer mix, who’s very high energy. She even administered his medication and sent the cutest photo while she was out with him. We’ll definitely be booking again!
Megan is a one of a kind dog sitter. My dog has a really hard time trusting new people and had recently snapped at a dog sitter. She is a reactive large breed (106lbs) and when we told megan about these issues, she approached them with compassion and confidence and my dog felt that immediately. Megan took our tips for navigating the dogs trust very seriously, my dog warmed to her completely. We usually have issues with her not eating while were away because of anxiety, but she had none of these issues with megan which speaks volumes about how comfortable she was. On top of handling our dog so well, she was communicative, provided updates, and left the house shining. She even went above and beyond to wash the sheets for our return. All of this is so appreciated after a long travel day. I not only will 100% use megan again, but i highly recommend for others who struggle with large breed reactive dogs. Sitters who can handles these dogs are so hard to come by and Megan is exactly that! Thank you so so much.
This was our second time using Meghan as our dog and house sitter, and this stay was slightly longer than the first. Just like last time, we were very pleased with her kindness and excellent communication. It’s clear to us that our dog, Mila, truly enjoys her presence, and Meghan is always very respectful of our home. We will definitely continue to use Meghan whenever we need a sitter!!
We recently had Megan look after our dog for the first time while we were out of town for four nights, and she was absolutely wonderful! She was very accommodating and even arrived early to meet us before we left. Megan also took the time to do a meet and greet beforehand to make sure she was a good fit and that our dog felt comfortable with her. Our dog can be quite timid, and we were initially nervous about leaving her with someone new, but Megan quickly put us at ease. She communicated with us regularly, sending daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated. We also came home to a clean and tidy house. Megan made us feel completely comfortable and confident that our dog was in great hands. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!
Megan was so good with our girls again. We have an active dog and young cat who both require a lot of attention and she handled them both with ease. We are always comfortable knowing Megan is looking after them when we are away. Thanks again for such great care for our girls! We appreciate you.

I am currently studying for my medical licensing exams, meaning that I spend a lot of time at home! I work part-time at a gym two nights of the week, but am happy to book some time off to make sure your pet gets the attention that they need!
