Pet care experience
Lots of love!
Currently I do not have any pets of my own, the photos on my profile are of my late American Bulldog, and the Cavalier Spaniel is my mother’s that does not live with me. I grew up always having a dog in my family, and about age 10 I began watching our neighbors dogs as well. I believe this is what gave me a good foundation of compassion, affection, and responsibility. As I got older I consistently had dogs of my own. I believe pets are not just pets, but that they are part of the family. I advocate for animals and I show great care and compassion. In the past 5 years I have had to put down two of my own senior dogs, so I learned a great deal of caring for elderly dogs. My dogs were given the very best lives and the very best of everything. This is how your pet will be treated in my care.

Megan was amazing. We booked really last minute, and then had to extend our stay. Her communication is fantastic, and she was very thorough in asking all the right questions to make sure she had all the details about Chevy. Would absolutely recommend.
Megan responded quickly to my booking request and was easy to communicate with. I felt very comfortable leaving my little senior girl with her after our meet and greet. I received lots of pictures and updates so I was able to enjoy my trip without worrying. Thank you Megan!
Megan was a great fit for boarding our dog. She asked great questions during our meet and greet and was communicative throughout the weekend she was watching our dog.

I am happy to recommend Megan for the position of dog walker/pet sitter with Rover. Megan is first and foremost an animal lover. She enjoys being in their company and demonstrates patience and understanding when handling them. Having grown up with several dogs she understands the responsibility their care requires. As an adult, Megan has cared for her own sick and elderly animals. She is a warm and friendly woman who is both trustworthy and honest. I wholeheartedly recommend her for this position.

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule. I currently work from home and make my own hours making my services very convenient. I can do walks, drop-ins, and boarding in my home.

Safety, trust & environment
Your belongings and home will be treated with care and respect. I only work in environments that are safe and secure for myself and the animals. I’m also very comfortable and experienced with senior dogs and dogs that require medication. For dogs boarding at my home- I have a very calm and quiet home. I do require a meet & greet at my house prior to boarding.
A typical day
I follow and match the dog’s personality as far as their likes and needs for attention. Some pets love to throw a ball over and over, some pets like to sit and sunbathe and just talk. I go with what the dog likes and Owners request.
