I cannot recommend this sitter. During our dog’s week-long stay, his prong collar was left on for the entire duration. When we picked him up, we immediately noticed dried blood on his white coat, active wound drainage, a strong odor from his neck, and that he was visibly in pain and repeatedly scratching at his neck. Barley required an emergency veterinary visit immediately after pickup. Our veterinarian confirmed multiple infected puncture wounds caused by the embedded prong collar, affecting approximately 85% of his neck. He is currently undergoing treatment, pain management, and has a long recovery ahead. We were not contacted at any point during the stay about any concerns or injuries. At pickup, the sitter said she was not aware of the injuries. In our experience, collars are typically removed or carefully managed when dogs are not actively supervised to prevent injury or entanglement, and basic care typically includes visual checks for signs of distress. We are sharing this experience so other pet owners can make informed decisions about care.

Thank you so much for the updates everyday. This was my first time boarding my dog and I can’t imagine it going any smoother than it did with Megan. I definitely will be booking again next time I have to go outta town. 10/10
