From Pugs to pocket bullies and kittens to Maine Coons, I'll spoil your fur baby like it's my own! Special diets? Meds? Anxiety? With over 30 years of pet care experience, I've handled it all, and there's no ask too big or too small when it comes to keeping your cat or dog comfortable. I own a pet-friendly home (yes, they're allowed on the furniture!) near the U of U where I live with my husband and two Pugs, Biscuit and LouLou. I work from home, so they'll have near-constant supervision, plus access to a doggy door and fully-fenced backyard. If your pet prefers their own abode, I'm happy to house-sit and stay the night. I take my dogs to the park or on neighborhood walks daily, and your dog is welcome to join. If a solo stroll is more their style, I have plenty of free time to accommodate their exercise needs. Whether you're looking for a little help while your at work or a longer stay, your pet will be well taken care of with Aunt Megan!

I cannot express enough what a dream Megan is for pet care! I have two pugs and always gravitate toward other pug owners when I see them out and about! I was lucky enough to meet her and her darling pugs in the park and later learned she was a pet sitter! This was the first time since moving to Salt Lake City 2 1/2 years ago that I found someone amazing to trust with Donut and Gumbo!! I was able to go on vacation and relax and not worry. The dogs got a vacation as well with her! She took them to different parks everyday and sent fun pics...she even trimmed their nails (they never let me do a mani!)! Donut and Gumbo may have wanted to stay longer! She is the BEST!!!
Megan was amazing! She took such good care of our two dogs - took them out on so many walks and adventures while they stayed with her. They had the best time!
Megan took such good care of Morty! 😊 She sent pictures everyday, took him on hikes, and multiple dog adventures with her two pugs. They kept him busy! She followed his special diet and medication regimen and kept me up to date on his health. She treated Morty like one of her own! Overall, she made sure that Morty had a merry Christmas 🎄and made leaving him less stressful for me. Megan is great and Morty loved her. She’s an amazing sitter for your pup.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small, fully-fenced yard accessible by medium-sized dog door. The side yard is grass and a great potty spot. The main portion of the yard is covered with a shady pergola and a daybed your dog can lounge on. It also features a small rock waterfall that doubles as a doggy splash pad and drinking fountain. Inside, I have 2 pet-friendly sofas on the main floor, one in the family room and one in the living room. My home spans 3 levels, each able to be closed off from the rest of the house, so if your pet likes a bit more privacy, they can have ample space of their own. Upstairs has its own AC unit and 3 rooms to spread out. I can also close off the sunny main floor laundry room that leads to the basement—the laundry room has 3 big windows with wide window sills and is a great hang-out spot for cats who want to spend the day watching birds and squirrels!
Pets
A typical day
I have a playroom full of dog toys my pugs are happy to share if your dog is staying with me. I love playing fetch and going for walks, and I give an unlimited supply of belly rubs and snuggles! I'm also happy to play with your kitty and their toys, followed by chin scratches and cuddles. If you're okay with me taking your dog to the park, I have a Subaru Outback Wilderness with a doggy seat liner/divider in the back. I love to swing by Java Jo's for coffee and doggy treats, so let me know if your dog is more of a Milk Bone guy or a pup cup gal. Just like your dog, I get bored with the same park on repeat, so I mix it up daily! Some of our favorites include City Creek, Tanner, Neffs, Rotary Glen, Cottonwood and Lindsey Gardens. I'll also drive up to Park City on occasion to beat the heat and hit up Run-a-Mok or Willow Pond.

- IMPORTANT: Due to the size of my doggy door and yard, I'm not equipped to host all breeds. Small and medium-sized dogs are welcome, larger dogs will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Rover filters by weight, but that's not always the best indicator of shape/size.
