Hello! My name is Megan and have been watching dogs for as long as I can remember. I am a recent graduate of George Mason University and looking for a fun way to make some extra income. Growing up I always had dogs around whether it was family's my shih-tzu and labradoodle or the neighbors golden retrievers and rescues. Throughout high school and college I would watch and walk my family friends, neighbors, coaches as well as teammates dogs and cats as a side gig. My roommates have a goldendoodle and puppy golden retriever, so I know how to care for multiple pets at once. Having taken care of all ages of animals, I feel more than comfortable with everything from puppies to seniors!

I cannot offer boarding services at the time, but I can assure that I will treat you, your pets, and household with the uttermost respect when I come watch, walk, or feed your pets.

Megan did a great job sitting for us! She was great at communicating about when she’d be home with the dogs on the days she worked and was able to spend more time with them than I expected! Our house was clean when we got home and our dogs were happy and well taken care of! We’re so thankful to have her as a dog sitter!

Megan was absolutely amazing with our dog while we were out of town. After our plans with another sitter fell through last minute, Megan not only swooped in to save the day but was so sweet and caring with our dog who had recently hurt his back and needed extra care. From being willing and thorough with giving him his medication to being extra attentive to his needs/helping him heal, I really feel like we lucked out finding Megan. Megan will be out go-to sitter from here on out. Thank you so much for everything you did for him while we had to be out of town!
Megan was amazing! we found her last minute for a trip (after being stood up by two other walkers) and it’s like she was an angel sent directly from above. she had great communication and sent daily pictures, she worked with our needs/wants in between her busy work schedule. (even being at our house before the sun came up to love on our girl before she went to her job!). when we got home i swear our dog was a little disappointed it was us and not Megan walking through the door! we even booked M again for another trip before laying her for the first trip. if youre searching for a good, trustworthy, loving, reliable dog walker, Megan is the answer!!
Megan is an incredible sitter! My two dogs and my cat adored her from the moment they all met her. She provided photo updates and was incredibly kind and flexible as my plans kept changing. I will 100% be using her again and I would recommend her to anyone! Reliable, trustworthy, and great to work with!
Megan has never met an animal that she doesn't love. Growing up with pets of her own, she has always been loving and responsible for them. She cared for several dogs in our neighborhood when families would go on vacation. She has been responsible for our own family pets when we would be gone overnight or weekends. She is attentive to details, punctual and trustworthy...your pet would be lucky to have her!

Schedule
I currently work full-time as an ED & Orthopedic scribe at Roanoke Memorial Hospital as I am pursuing PA school! My scribe schedule changes month to month, but most of the time I'm in the orthopedic clinic on Thursday's 8am-5pm. I'm in the ED another 3 days a week, but those shifts vary by week and could be overnight and/or weekend shifts. I will let you know my work schedule before booking the visit:) Then on Friday or Saturday nights (depending on the week) I volunteer as an EMT with Riner Volunteer Rescue Squad from 6pm-6am. I know my schedule sounds hectic, but I promise I'm more flexible than it looks! It's worth reaching out and trying to set something up:)
