I work about 8 hours at a time, so generally I’m good with flexible drop in times, or housesitting for any animals okay alone for that period of time. I may be able to housesit for dogs who require more frequent potty breaks, if my sister is able to stop in while I’m at work, for those who are comfortable with that.

I am only able to care for pets at clients’ houses, such as for overnight stays. I like to try and follow the same routine that you do so your pet feels as comfortable as possible while you’re gone.

I'm okay with all breeds, though I need to know how well trained larger dogs (above 60 pounds) are before I am comfortable walking them. Please let me know if your pet is sensitive to anything or uncomfortable with anything. I would like to know how worried I should be about your pet escaping outside and how to get them back in if they escape.
A typical day
I’m happy to take your dogs outside to play, or take them on walks before and after work. If they have toys, I’ll gladly play tug-of-war or throw balls or frisbees for a while. If they’re cuddly, they can lay on the couch with me in the evenings and watch TV.

Pet care experience
I grew up with cats and birds, and experience with many other animals. I've been petsitting since I was 13, and still housesit/petsit for some of my original clients. I've taken care of dogs, cats, birds, rodents, fish, and chickens. I'm used to small to German Shepard sized dogs, though I only have experience walking smaller dogs and well-trained larger dogs who don't pull at the leash much. I'm also happy to get up early to follow feeding schedules!
