I’ve always been an animal lover. I have been pet and house sitting for years, mostly just pitching in for friends who know how eager I am. My childhood dog lived until 16 and was my best friend. I was his primary caretaker, especially in his elder years. I have lived with many animals throughout my life and find caretaking to be something that comes naturally for. As a dog person, I never expected to grow into such a cat lover, but I am a fan of all creatures big and small. My best friend has a dog that I take care of anytime he needs it. He refers to me as her "dog aunt". I have a reasonably sized car and am open to making trips to the park/river, as well as going on walks around your neighborhood or providing whatever other companionship is needed for your animal.
