I work as a Registered Nurse so unfortunately I have a very variable schedule in the days I have free each week; however because I work twelve hour shifts I do have a lot of open days. Also while spending so much time in a hospital I am looking forward to spending more time with loving pets to play and help me destress.

With two young dogs I have recently spent quite some time in puppy classes and obedience training so I feel well prepared to help you keep your dogs entertained and happy. I have experience with crate training and still frequently use kennels with my own dogs if that interests you. I also am a big fan of mental stimulation games when inside or walks/hikes especially with nice summer weather. While volunteering at the rescue I have gotten experience working with many different breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs. Including shy/skittish dogs.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences. Any special quirks that I should be aware of as well as favorite activities. Although I am not a trainer by any means if you are working on any special behaviors or tricks let me know and I will try to keep them in mind during my time with your dog. Also any information on how your dog does on walks would be very helpful. Do they get scared with meeting other people or dogs while on a leash? Do they pull a lot? Should we be taking frequent breaks? How long/far do they typically walk? Are they escape artists? Ect.

I love to stimulate your dogs mind with games that involve nose work and coordination. Favorite games that my dogs enjoy are filled kong toys and "find the treat" games. Let me know of any of your dogs favorite games or I can teach them a new one. I also love getting your dog active through walks, hikes, playing fetch, or just running around a yard or park. Let me know of any of your dogs favorite places as well. If your dog is not the active type let me know and we can always just partake in a nice cuddle session where I will spoil them with belly rubs.

After rescuing my two adorable pups I have found I just can not get enough. I have a 60lbs lovable mutt and now a Shih Tzu who make quite the pair. I also volunteer at Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue and foster as often as I can. We enjoy hiking, lake time, and dog parks together on a regular bases and I would love to welcome your fur babies into my furry family. Through my time fostering I have also gained experience working with many kinds of dogs including shy/skittish dogs and many different ages and breeds.
