As a lifelong animal lover and dog owner myself, I’ve always felt a special bond and connection to animals and the natural world. I'm reminded and amazed on a daily basis at their resilience, special ability to live in the moment, and bring and provide healing and joy just by being! Dogs truly contain a pure and unconditional love and acceptance that enrich our lives. I have 8 years of experience caring for and owning dogs and have been around animals my whole life. I have a passion for local animal rescues and have also been a dog foster myself. This has allowed me to gain experience in handling various situations and caring for a variety of dog breeds, ages, temperaments, energy levels from different backgrounds. More on my technical experience below - please don't hesitate to reach out if you have more questions! • Over 8 years’ experience caring for dogs • In-depth knowledge of different breeds of domestic pets • Ensured pets are given enough exercise and playtime • Cleaned and bathed dogs • Administered oral and topical medications when needed to dogs and cats • Experience providing first aid when required - such as cuts, scrapes, bites, burns.

Being a helicopter dog mom myself - I know how hard it is to leave and find the right person to trust and care for your pet. I understand that pets are more than just animals; they’re beloved family members.

Megan has taken care of our cat several times while we’ve been away. Our cat requires wet food and medication twice a day, and Megan has always been dependable to ensure our cat is taken care of. The longest was a two week time period when we’re out of the country. Megan is more than just a pet sitter, she also loves animals and will let us know if there are any concerns about our pet based on their behavior. I would definitely recommend Megan if you need someone to look after your pet.
Megan always goes above and beyond when caring for our cat while we are away. She is attentive and nurturing, and provides us with frequent updates and pictures. We are very comfortable when away, knowing our cat is in great care. We are thankful for Megan’s flexibility and availability, when multiple visits in a day are necessary for administering medicine. She’s the absolute best!

I work for myself and out of my home part time so I will have plenty of time to care for and focus on your pet.
