Being at home means I’ve got plenty of time and attention to give. I offer 2-3 walks a day and I’m happy to plan around the heat on warmer days. We’re lucky enough to have fields right on our doorstep, but we also love heading out to new spots for fresh sniffs and adventures in the evenings and at weekends.

Our home has a fully fenced garden and a spacious, open-plan downstairs, plenty of room for sleeping, playing, and cuddling on the sofa. Cool slate floors keep things comfortable in summer, and a cosy fireplace makes winter stays extra snug. If needed, we can also section off part of the downstairs, so there’s flexibility for dogs who prefer their own space.

I’m a dog mum to my 2-year-old Golden Retriever, Benny, and I’ve been obsessed with dogs since I was young. I’ve looked after many breeds over the years, from spaniels to lurchers, and now I’d love to offer boarding and sitting here on Rover. I know how uneasy it can feel leaving your dog for the first time — that’s why I want to make it as easy as possible. We’re lucky to have beautiful countryside walks right on our doorstep, and since my partner and I both work from home, your dog gets full-time care, training, and lots of cuddles throughout the day.

After being left high and dry by another sitter, Megan came to our rescue. She replied to our same day request within half an hour, and Ozzie was in her care within the hour. We could not ask for a better, more accommodating and welcoming family to look after our boy. We had regular updates and it was lovely to see Ozzie befriending her dog Benny. If I was local to the area I would not hesitate to use Megan’s services again. Highly recommended.
Megan is caring, reliable, and attentive, always making sure Benny is happy, well-exercised, and loved while I’m away. She keeps me updated with messages and photos, which gives me complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands.
