Experienced with many breeds
I am a foster caregiver for Dakin, I generally have kittens that are malnutritioned so I have experience hand feeding cats that are underweight. I also love senior dogs. My dogs are older so I'm used to giving medicine and the occasional accident. It's not a big deal. I generally work from home so I am available most days and times. I have experience with large and small dogs, cats and birds of various species. I have flexibility in my work schedule so I can make trips throughout the day to feed, medicate or walk pets in my general area. My yard is partially fenced, but I have a dog run that is secured in ground by cement. I also do not leave dogs unattended. I do have cats, they are fosters I kept from Dakin, so they were raised with dogs. However, if your dog is not ok around cats I do have a room the cats can stay in.

I'm so glad I found Megan! After being disappointed by seeing a few kennels, I decided to look for a boarder through Rover. Megan was very responsive to initial questions and even offered photos of her space! I felt comfortable booking. She is someone who truly cares about animals with a few pets of her own and space set up for them to explore inside and out. It definitely seems like a way of life rather than a side gig. My 15 year old dog had a good week with Megan in her quiet neighborhood.

This is really our first experience learning Pepper with someone. Of course I was not sure how it will go and was a bit worried. But, Megan made it much much easier with her kindness on updates and sending pictures of Pepper. That was so nice. Thank you Megan! Overall a service I will use again and will recommend!

Schedule
I generally work from home so my schedule is very flexible, I can work around the times needed for pet care whether it's a dog walk or a cat drop in visit.

I like to take walks with my dog. There is a park close by that I frequently go to. I also have access to the CT river so I bring my dog to swim.
