Availability
We are home often and can provide frequent potty breaks generally every 1-2 hours. The longest guests are ever left unattended are 4-6 hours unless prearranged and specified for your pet. While we are away we have several measures in place to keep your pets safe and comfy including: cameras, music, fans, their own kennels/rooms/beds, long lasting treats (kongs), etc.

I have a large fenced in yard to let your dogs run and play and stretch their legs. I have long leads available to use with dogs who are still working on recall. The river is close but we also have a doggy pool for extra hot days! ***It is with a heavy heart that I announce our pack has gone from 4 to 3. Our boy, Toby passed away at just 6 years old due to cancer (July 2021). We want to thank everyone who befriended him and loved him during their stays with us and we know he will be missed by many of our furiends. We love you Toby, rest easy.

I would like to know basic temperament and any special needs or training concerns. I have a lot of dog training and handling experience so most things will not deter me from loving and caring and helping out your furbaby!
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on strolls through the neighborhood, the rail trail, hiking trails, the beach, or the river. My basement has a large gated concrete playroom for dogs full of kennels, cots, bones, balls, and rope toys to play and lounge in to their hearts content!

Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats in my family my entire life! Currently I'm the mom to four dogs ranging in breeds (lab, Aussie, pit, border collie)***. I have trained dogs to pass their CGC, CGCA, CGCU and certified therapy dog tests. I frequently train and compete with my dogs in various dog sports including agility, dock diving, disc/K9 frisbee, rally, obedience, and trick dogs. I currently own and operate, B's Downtown Dogs llc, which caters to training rescue dogs and dogs with behavioral issues. There isn't much that deters me from loving and caring for your furkids as if they were my own! I understand the importance of canine enrichment and physical exercise and implement both while your dog stays with us. I have a large fenced in yard but there are also nearby trails and large fields that I frequent with my dogs. The river is also a short distance away from my home for strong and confident swimmers to enjoy. My basement has a large gated concrete playroom for dogs full of kennels, cots, bones, balls, and rope toys to play and lounge in to their hearts content!

Megan took fantastic care of my teenage (in dog years), energetic, tad rebellious German Shepherd. This was my first time leaving her with anyone for more than a day. She was with Megan for 7 days and she had the time of her life. She slept the entire ride home! Even though I knew she was in good hands, Megan sent me pictures and updates daily. She made wonderful friends with the two other pups that were there and loved her cuddle time with Megan on the couch. I would highly recommend Megan to anyone looking for a loving and attentive sitter. Megan has extensive experience training dogs for sport and obedience. She can handle the best of the best and the worst of the worst. I can't wait to see my baby girl reunited with her favorite sitter in the future!
Megan did a great job taking care of my 2 dogs. She had a good plan for introducing them to her dogs and sent plenty of photos and updates. I would definitely have her watch my dogs again!
Megan took great care of my two boys. They came home happy with wagging tails. I will definitely use her Services again.
