After nearly 20 years of pet/house sitting, and as a dog mom myself, I know how important trust and security are. I'm thoughtful, caring, and understand the importance of feeding schedules, medication times, favorite toys, and getting to understand your pet’s unique personality! Your home and pet(s) will be safe and happy with me. I'm currently building a business after finishing my PhD, and bring the same discipline and follow-through to pet care that got me through a doctorate: reliable, organized, and easy to reach. I’m a lifelong cat lady who somehow became a devoted dog mom (I love my little weirdo!). In addition to extensive experience with dogs and cats, I've also cared for birds, fish, and small pets like hamsters, rats, and guinea pigs. I can provide glowing references upon request—many past clients are now like family. They just don’t have an account with this site to leave a review!

When I am in someone else's home, I understand that helping you feel secure is paramount. I will work with you to make sure everything I need is set up so I can respect your privacy and keep your home clean! I'm also happy to gather mail, watering plants, and other basic home maintenance during overnight stays. Before you leave, we'll make a plan together so you can feel totally at ease leaving your home in my hands.

Schedule
I work from home, so I'm happy to relocate my home office to your place to be with your pet all day :) I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to take breaks on my terms for walks, etc. And I'm very productive with a kitty on my lap! I'm also happy to do extended stays--I've cared for homes and pets for weeks at a time while a family was traveling.
