My schedule is currently very flexible and can adjust my day around bookings. This allows me to offer reliable availability for walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and and most early evenings. I am happy to accommodate regular schedules as well as last-minute requests when possible. Consistency is important to me, so I aim to keep your pet's routine and timing as closely as possible. Please note that I am unavailable later in the evenings (~19:00) on Wednesdays and Fridays.

I am experienced in reading body language and preventing stressful or unsafe situations before they happen. During drop-in visits, I make sure doors and gates are securely closed, and routines are carefully followed so your pet stays safe, comfortable, and relaxed in their own home. I also provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

To make sure your pet has the best experience possible, it's really helpful to know about their usual routine, energy level, and anything they particularly love (or don't love!). Please let me know about any behavioral quirks (such as pulling on the lead, reactivity to other dogs, or if they are a bit shy or nervous) so that I can handle them in a way that keeps everyone safe and comfortable. Please share any medical needs, allergies, or medications, as well as feeding instructions if relevant. I would also love to know their favorite toys, treats, and any commands they respond to!

A typical day with me is all about making sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and has something to look forward to. For walks, we'll head out at a pace that suits them, from a relaxed stroll around the neighborhood, to a more energetic adventure with loads of time to explore and enjoy the interesting smells along the way. If there is a park nearby, I'm happy to include that as well! During drop-ins, I'll make sure your pet has fresh water, any meals or treats they need, and plenty of attention. We can play, practice a few tricks, or just hang out, whatever matches their mood that day. I'm always happy to give belly rubs, scritches, and lots of positive attention.

Hallo! Ich heiße Megan. Ich komme aus Amerika. Ich wohne jetzt in Bamberg. Im Moment spreche ich nur Englisch. ---------- Hi there! My name's Megan and I'm an American who has recently moved to Bamberg. I've grown up with many types of animals, whether it be my own childhood cat and dog, or family's pets, so being around pets has always been a big part of my life. I also have past experience from working at a doggy daycare for 3 years and before that an animal shelter for 5 years. This has given me a strong understanding of different breeds, temperaments, and behaviors, as well as experience handling dogs in both calm and high-energy environments. Whether your dog needs a good walk, some playtime and cuddles, or a quick check-in while you're away, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for. I'm attentive to each dog's individual needs, and I always prioritize safety and positive interactions. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your pup is doing. I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to make our time together stress-free and enjoyable as possible. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby!

Megan is great! She stayed with our 2 boy golden retrievers and lab mix girl while we went on vacation! No easy task to watch and care for 3 large active dogs. Leaving three dogs is no small thing, especially with one needing a bit of extra care for hot spots, but I knew they were in good hands the whole time. Meg kept me updated the entire time, and it was clear our pups were getting loads of attention and were well taken care of. I came home to three very content pups and a house just as I left it. My dogs were happy and healthy when we came back-so happy they didn’t want her the leave. I'm so thankful for the help and would happily ask Megan again anytime."
