Hello! My name is Megan. I am a certified professional dog trainer and I offer personal boarding for dogs! I am also licensed, insured, and background checked through Rover and Off Leash K9. I got my first puppy when I was 15, he is now a happy 13yr old senior! I also have 2 other dogs I’ve adopted from shelters over the past few years. I have been dog-sitting for my family and friends for many years and have lots of experience! I am educated in K9 CPR and continue to take courses and refreshers in dog safety through my training company.

This was my lab, Josie's, first stay with Megan A., and she had a blast! From the moment she and I entered the house, Megan made us feel welcome. She is a serious, knowledgeable dog person, and the love, the helpful information, and care she shared made a huge difference. In the past, I have felt a tad guilty about having to board Josie...but now, seeing how she fit so well with Megan's "squad," well, I'm gonna feel guilty if I don't take her there. Our family recently relocated to the Lake area as full timers after 30 years of being weekenders, so having great resources now that we are living here is so important. If you are in the Lake area and want your pup to have a great stay, give Megan a try, you won't be disappointed.
Our dog loved her weekend there. She felt right at home. Even though it was a little bit of a drive for us to get there it was worth it and will definitely book her again!
She seemed really great. Clearly loves dogs.
Megan was wonderful with our 2 pups on an overnight stay! She was very attentive and they got along great with her 3 dogs as well. She texted me updates and sent pictures of them lounging on her sofa and dog beds. I even think her husband was a little bummed my bulldog was leaving lol

Programa
For the most part I am available all the time. During the week and on weekends as well! I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated for any non-available times.

I have a large and fully fenced in yard. The fence is 6ft full privacy and the back is thick chain link so they can still see out! I have 3 friendly dogs for lots of doggie company! But I also have a boarding building for dogs to stay separated if needed. Water is always available inside and out. I can easily crate if need be and they are most definitely welcome on my furniture for snuggles.

I love hanging out with dogs! My entire life and career revolves around them. We play fetch in my backyard and I have plenty of toys inside as well.
