I’m currently a graduate student attending Aurora University online, which gives me a flexible schedule. I currently offer weekend boarding in my home and evening walks during the week. I’ll always keep my availability up to date, and I’ll only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet the time and attention they deserve.

Information Meg N. would like to know about your pet
The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them! Please let me know about their daily routine, favorite activities, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, fears, triggers, and any quirks or behaviors I should know about. I want to make their time with me as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
A typical day
Every pet’s ideal day looks a little different, so I tailor my care to their personality and energy level. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, or simply relaxing with lots of cuddles, I’m happy to match their pace. For cats, that might mean playtime with their favorite toy, brushing, treats, or simply sharing a quiet space. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and excited to see me again.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Meg, a graduate student attending Aurora University online while pursuing my Master’s in Social Work. My career is centered around being patient, dependable, and attentive to individual needs, and I bring those same qualities to every pet I care for. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for my own dog, Bentley, has given me experience beyond the average pet owner. I adopted him as an 8-week-old puppy from an accidental litter, and over the years I’ve managed his hip issues, bladder disease requiring a strict prescription diet, anxiety, and a collapsing trachea. Because of him, I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following detailed feeding instructions, and adapting to each dog’s unique routine. In addition to Bentley, I’ve cared for more than 15 dogs through house sitting, walks, and pet care for family and friends. I’m most comfortable with small- and medium-sized dogs, including puppies, senior dogs, and pets with special diets. Since I can’t have a dog of my own right now, Rover is the perfect way to combine something I truly enjoy with a flexible schedule while I’m in graduate school. Whether your pup is staying with me for the weekend or just needs an evening walk, I’ll make sure they’re safe, loved, and well cared for. Communication is important to me, so I’m happy to send photo updates and detailed visit summaries as often as you’d like. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’ll follow your instructions carefully so they feel comfortable while you’re away. My goal is simple: to care for your pets the same way I’d want someone to care for mine, with patience, consistency, lots of love, and plenty of updates along the way. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

Reviews
Meg used to dog sit for me during the days while I worked. She was very flexible and great to have! My pup absolutely loves her. She always made me feel very reassured that Ollie was in good hands by sending pictures/videos of him doing various things. She also was more than willing to take him to parks or on walks to make sure he was busy and having fun! She handled my dogs energy very well (he’s a two year old, 80 lb golden retriever). We recently moved to another state and Ollie really misses her. We occasionally FaceTime her to chat and Ollie gets excited and runs to my phone at the sound of Megan’s voice. Meg is great!
Meg has loved and been around animals from the day she was born. She’s currently living in FL and away from her two own pets, a dog and a cat, both rescues.
Meg’s love for dogs is heartwarming! She is a friendly, trustworthy, and responsible girl with positive energy. Meg will without a doubt take great care of any pup!
