I am a current PhD student so my schedule is very flexible through mid-July! I also have a car so I can make most schedules that your pets need work! Starting mid-July I will have more work responsibilities and will only be available for house sitting.

I cannot offer boarding in my own home because my apartment is not pet friendly. When I house sit I am very respectful and clean of the space and I enjoy being able to stick to the typical routine of the pet as much as possible.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or accommodations. I have experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs - but it is helpful for me to know ahead of time what to expect! I also appreciate knowing how your pet is with strangers, other animals, etc. so I know what to look for on walks!
A typical day
I love making sure your pet is mentally and physically stimulated so they end the day feeling loved, tired, and content! I typically start my time with pets playing in the home before a long walk or run. I’m very active so happy to take the pets on any length of walk or on a run with me! Then I like to make sure the pet has time to wind down after the walk, so I’ll sit with them and make sure they’re relaxed before leaving drop in visits.

Pet care experience
I have extensive experience with animals. I grew up with a dog in the home who I helped train and care for my entire life. Once I was a teenager, I pet sat for several neighbors and friends on a recurring basis as I was able to build meaningful relationships with their pets. I also volunteered at an animal shelter in college where I helped feed and bathe the animals. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages (young ones who need extra support and older ones who might need medicines or extra guidance). Ultimately, I LOVE all animals and have always had a natural ease with them - so would love to help you take care of any or all of your pets :)
