I believe in exercise and walk adventures, as new scents/ experiences excite dogs. I’ve had Yellow Labs, Golden Retrievers and a Bernese Mountain dog mix. We lost a beloved golden at 14 years old. I’m ready for more dog companionship! I am an Empty Nester and ready to have my house not so empty. I’m retired as a marketing and sales executive and serve local nonprofit boards. My house is near southside trails and dog parks. I know a lot about dog training and positive reinforcement. I’m a patient person who loves to walk and be outside.

What a neat family and home for a pet—Meg loves dogs and has the desire and experience to bring a new dog into their home, yard, and neighborhood with success. Hazel was very relaxed and happy at pickup and had found her place with them. I’m so grateful for Meg giving us time away and not having to worry about our dog. I highly recommend this family and home for overnight and day care.
Meg was very responsive and took amazing care of our dog while we were away. We received daily pictures and our dog was provided ample exercise. Meg is also very genuine and it is easy to see that she has a love for dogs. Thanks again!
Daisy and Coco are very loving but active Labradors, they need daily exercise, they loved having Meg come visit and play with them. They seemed very content when we arrived home later in the day/. It is wonderful to be able to plan a long day in Seattle or elsewhere and not have to worry about running home to check on the dogs. Meg came prior to her visits to meet me and the dogs and get any pertinent information. We felt they were in very good hands.
Chief's first stay with Meg went great - thank you, Meg for filling in at last minute's notice! We're sure he'll be back to stay with you soon.
Meg was so wonderful! My dog loved her stay and Meg was very accommodating.
Marty had a great time with Meg. She kept him active and sent plenty of updates throughout his stay with her. I would highly recommend Meg and hope to utilize her as a sitter next time I’m out of town.

Schedule
I enjoy getting outside in all weather and have a flexible routine. I’m often busy on the weekends but can still make room for dog care.

A typical day
I like to go to Fairhaven park, Whatcom falls, Lake Padden & southside bellingham trails and dog parks hiking for a long morning or afternoon hike.
