I work a 9-5, and go into the office once a week on a day of my choosing. My usual routine involves a morning stroll to get my brain working, and another at lunchtime. When it’s light enough I love driving out somewhere green for an early evening walk as well. Joss is around all the time save the few evenings a week he entertains students in town, and he enjoys the luxury of a lie-in most days!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden that’s secure enough for most dogs, although if your pet is a particularly good escape artist we’d always welcome an inspection from you. Going for a wee with a lead on is no trouble if it’s something that concerns you. We live on a close so are not right next to a busy road, but we have a porch with a very handy ‘airlock’ so shooting out to meet the postman is impossible.

Information Meg L. would like to know about your pet
Let me know as much as you can about your pet, including their size, habits, toileting, things that might make them nervous, and any medical information that would be beneficial to know.
A typical day
When we look after a friend’s dog, the pup’s day normally starts with me trying to coax them out of bed and into the garden, but realistically Joss is a very good cuddler and they’re often reluctant. One of us (or all of us) then go for a nice lunchtime walk and a play in the garden, Joss particularly enjoys an afternoon adventure, and the evenings are my time to shine (quality sofa fuss with Netflix on).

Pet care experience
My name is Meg, I’ve been using Rover for several years as a dog sitter. Me and my lovely partner Joss are now in a lovely cosy home in West Bridgford, and would love to open it up to the occasionally waggy-tailed guest. Every time our pet owning friends go away - we practically beg to have their dog for sleepovers at our house! The dogs can sleep in our bed, take up the whole sofa, you name it and we’ll think it’s the cutest thing that’s ever happened. Practically speaking, I work a 9-5 from home, and Joss works a few evenings a week as a DJ and karaoke host. One of us is always at home, and actually it can be a little lonely in the evenings when Joss is out! If you booked with us, your little love (…or big love) would have 24/7 company and enough cuddles they’ll be sick of it by the time you come to collect.

Reviews

The best, as always! Literally the only people we will leave Penelope with. We actually think she loves them more than us!

Paddy and Coco loved their stay with Meg & Jos, don’t think they missed us at all ! An amazing couple ( reluctant to recommend they will become too popular!)

Fabulous as ALWAYS! Penelope was so excited to go back and see Meg and Joss. We couldn’t be happier with her home from home. Thank you again ❤️

What a fabulous day we had 🐾🐾🐾🐾thank you so much :)
