My dog wants to play with your dog!
Hi, I’m Meg! I’m originally from Virginia and grew up taking care of a “zoo” - three dogs and four cats. My husband and I now have a 3 year old golden retriever, Ódin, who is the light of my life! He loves playing with other dogs and is a friend to all. He often seems lonely and bored, so I started doing Rover for him to have some friends to play with! I have trained several dogs, taken care of seniors, and am comfortable providing medication. I would love to meet more pets around the area and help people in need of pet care services!

Meg was absolutely wonderful with our dog Jax! This was one of his first times sleeping at someone else’s house, and he was a little anxious. Meg was so understanding and patient with him, and it was clear she truly cared about making him feel safe and comfortable. She kept us updated with pictures and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We could tell he was in great hands. We’re so grateful for her care and would absolutely trust her with Jax again in the future!
Prompt communication, daily photos and updates and was able to accept my last-minute booking. Very lovely, clean home. I know Toby was very comfortable during his stay!

I work full time remote and have a flexible schedule, so I am able to fit all pet care into my day to day easily.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a one level home which makes it easy to watch pets. I have a large, fenced in backyard with plenty of room to play and lots of shade. For the safety of the pup and our house, dogs are crated overnight and when we leave the house.
Pets
A typical day
I love to take pets on long walks and allow them tons of time to sniff to tire out mentally. I usually go on 2-3 walks a day. I also play with pets in the backyard when the weather is nice, throwing balls and playing tug. When the weather is not nice, we play sniff games inside. I also prioritize giving pets quiet time to prevent them from getting overtired.
