Safety, trust & environment

I am familiar with many trails and dog parks around my area and have a great concept of which dogs are safe to play with (if your dog is open to it!)

Information Meg F. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know as much information about your dog as you can. Any triggers, personality traits (ex. Howls to say hello, doesnt like to be pet on the belly, loves to meet new dogs), their relationship to new dogs and people on walks, and their fears so that your pup and I can be most comfortable. I look forward to chatting with you! ??

A typical day

With my own dog, we start the day off with snuggles and breakfast, followed by fetch in the yard while I drink my coffee. In the afternoon he will "supervise" chores or gardening and then we will go for a swim! We like to swim and play fetch at the beach or local marsh to cool down. After dinner and a nap we are usually back up and at it for fetch and later a before bed walk.

As enthusiastic as your pup!

Pet care experience

I have grown up with cats and dogs in my house. My neighbour was also a breeder for field spaniels so I got to be one of the first people each new litter met, to prepare them from homes with young kids. I am currently in university but have a very flexible schedule to care for your dogs when you need me most. I am looking forward to my study break with your pup while you are at work! I have a deep love for furry animals and many trails near me to show dogs new areas and places to smell. Your dog will be getting as much (if not more) attention and affection as when they are in their regular home. I personally own a 1 year old male Australian Cattle Dog mix who loves to run, swim, and play fetch! He gets along well with other dogs (especially females) if you would like your dog to have a play/hike mate!

Meg was great, really helped me out with a last minute stop in at my house to let my dog Maisey out! Punctual and amazing with dogs, will definitely use her again!
