Pet care experience

Animal caretaker extraordinaire!

I have been a dog-lover my entire life! Growing up in a home with dogs, I understand the value that they can bring to a family and also to an individual's life. I've cared for a variety of dogs (and cats!) over time and am constantly fascinated by the diverse characteristics they possess and unique personalities they all inhabit. If you want to have a reliable, personable, and dependable Rover Sitter--I'm your gal. I am willing to go the extra mile by taking trips to the dog park, long walks through the neighborhood, or simply showing my love to your fur baby with treats and pets. I am also willing to snuggle on the couch and brush their coat if they are more of a home body. My experience is primarily with midsize and smaller dogs, but I love the gentle giants as well. Please do not hesitate to connect with me to discuss more specific details, expectations, and any questions you may have! My work environment is flexible so I have been able to continue working and completing Rover jobs with a lot of different people depending on you and your pet's needs. When caring for your pet in your home, I try to make it as much as a seamless transition as possible. Knowing your pet's routine and any other specific details about their mannerisms or personality will only ensure a more smooth and successful booking together. I also ask that any new clients review and follow Rover’s outlined Pet Parent Role (https://www.rover.com/blog/community-guidelines), specifically the disclosure of any cameras or recording devices present in the home. While I am more than happy to accommodate any additional security features an owner may have in place, failure to disclose them may result in an immediate cancelation out of concern for my personal safety and level of comfortability.

I had an amazing experience with Meg, who stayed at our house and took wonderful care of our two dogs. She was reliable, communicative, and left the house spotless, giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. I would absolutely recommend Meg to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Meg did an amazing job of taking care of Sophie for two whole weeks. I was out of the country on the other side of the world and was completely comfortable the entire time. When I got home the house was clean and organized just as I had left it and Sophie was very happy and content.

Meg was timely, attentive to detail and gave photo updates of my furr babies while we were on vacation. It made me feel so much more comfortable to be away knowing she was taking care of our pets :-) very friendly and left the place tidy after she house sat and watched our 3 cats and one puppy

Meg stayed with our two corgi boys (one only 10 months old) at our house for an entire week and didn’t go crazy, I have to commend her for that mate than anything else! She was great to our boys and we came home to a clean house and happy dogs. Even though the little one was a rascal, even though a storm took out the power one night, and even though it rained almost every single day! Meg has a great work ethic and we were so glad to have her taking care of our boys in our home while we were out of town. We recommend her highly and will use her again for sure!

Schedule

I work a somewhat flexible schedule and take on bookings as needed. I will communicate any changes in my availability in a timely manner and note specific timeframes that I may be unavailable as necessary. With this in mind, there may need to be some adjustments made to the pricing of my services in order to account appropriately for my time, opportunity cost, and to ensure that you have my availability for any booking requests with a quick turn around between when the request is initiated and when the booking will begin.

Any and all details that you feel are important to know should be completed in the pet's profile and care info section of your Rover profile (behaviors, mannerisms, personality, things they like or don't like, etc.). It is best for me to have that to be easily accessible in case something serious happens during a booking, or if I notice something that could be completely normal.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
