Information Medi G. would like to know about your pet
When I dog sit, I always like to know as much as possible about the pet ahead of time to keep them comfortable and happy. I find it important to know their routine, like when and how much they eat, any dietary restrictions, and their exercise needs. I also ask about their behavior—what makes them anxious or excited, their bathroom habits, and any quirks or things they don’t like. Understanding if they have any medical conditions, need medications, or have special care requirements is essential. I also make sure to get emergency contacts, the vet’s details, and any specific house rules, like whether they’re allowed on furniture or if there are areas they need to avoid. This information helps me give the best care possible and keeps the dog feeling safe and secure.
A typical day
A typical day of dog sitting at someone’s house for me starts with an early morning walk, letting the dog stretch their legs and do their business, followed by breakfast. We usually play or spend some quiet time together, depending on their mood, then I keep an eye on them while they relax or nap. Around midday, I take them out again for a short walk or bathroom break, and we might fit in some more play or cuddles. In the evening, there’s another walk, dinner, and some relaxed time before a final bathroom break and settling in for the night. Throughout the day, I make sure to give lots of attention and love, while also keeping the owners updated to reassure them that their pet is happy and comfortable.

Experienced In-Home Pet Sitting
Pet care experience
I offer years of experience in pet sitting, including caring for senior dogs and cats with specific medication needs. My background in a veterinary clinic has equipped me with valuable skills for handling various health requirements. Additionally, I’ve personally trained my own puppy, so I’m well-versed in puppy training too!

Medi was amazing!

Medi was great! I have an older pup who may or may not want to walk. She took care of her and made sure she was all good in my absence.
For the entirety of time that I have known Medi, over 10 years of friendship, she has always had animals and their care on the forefront of her mind. She takes into account how pets are used to their routines and adapts her skillset to best take of them. This includes communicating throughly with owners to learn about their pets and getting to know the pet personally while she looks after them. Medi is always willing to go above and beyond for the animals that are placed in her care, as she cares for them as much as she cares for her own. I couldn't recommend Medi as a pet sitter enough for a pet owner!
