Hi! I’m a huge animal lover with lots of experience caring for pets, and spending time with them is truly one of my favorite things. I love getting to know each pet’s little quirks and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Meaghen and her girls were great with Dyson! He was comfortable and so happy there. We are lucky we found her last minute and she took him in without hesitation. We will definitely ask Meaghen to watch Dyson again during our next stay in Cobourg!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my day! I’m always making time for feeding, fresh water, walks, and play. Throughout the week I keep things tidy and make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, cuddles, and care.

I keep things simple and stress-free for pets, whether they’re at my place or I’m at a client’s home. I follow their usual routine—feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. In my home, I make sure they have a cozy, safe space and plenty of attention. In a client’s home, I treat it with respect and keep their pet comfortable by sticking to the schedule and habits they’re used to.
A typical day
Lots of playing in the backyard. I live a few blocks from the beach so weather permitting, a walk there will definitely be on the docket!

- It’s helpful to know anything that keeps your pet happy and comfortable—like their routine, favorite toys, feeding schedule, and how they usually act on walks. I also like to know about any quirks, anxieties, allergies, medical needs, or things that might scare them. The more I know ahead of time, the easier it is for me to give them the best care possible.
