I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12, when my family got our first dog. By the age of 16, we had adopted a young puppy which gave me early experience with both adult and untrained dogs. Over the years, I’ve walked, fed, and cared for dogs of all sizes, from Beagles to German Shepherds and Greyhounds. I have been fostering for the past 5 years, taking in puppies as young as 6 months to seniors as old as 12 years. In 2024, I adopted my own high-energy pup (part German Shepherd), which has deepened my understanding of training and exercise needs for active breeds. I haven't had a cat personally, but I have looked after cats for friends and neighbors when they go away. I also have experience looking after rabbits and guinea pigs.
