What sets me apart is my experience working with dogs of all personalities and needs, especially reactive dogs and strong pullers. I have completed training with my own reactive chocolate lab through Justin’s Canine Campus, along with continuing training work at home, which has taught me patience, consistency, and how to read dog behavior closely. As a teacher, I’m dependable, calm, and attentive, and I naturally bring those qualities into caring for pets. I’ve loved animals since I was young and also continue to volunteer at animal shelters (Helping Hounds & HumaneCNY) giving me experience with dogs who may need extra patience, structure, or reassurance. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

I care for every pet as if they were my own and always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I try to keep pets on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention and affection. I also make sure their space stays clean and that they feel calm while their owners are away.

Meaghan was a terrific dog sitter. She truly took excellent care of my dog Toto. I received multiple photos with captions which I really appreciated. In addition she followed all my instructions as my dog appears to do quite well with structure. Toto is a rescue who at times can be a bit stubborn. Meaghan had no problem with his finicky behavior. Toto really appeared to connect with Meaghan and her easy going approach. I was so impressed with her reliability, confidence and above all kindness. I do highly recommend Meaghan. She’s a gem!!

Meaghan took such amazing care of my dog Gus while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly loves animals. Schedule
Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. As a teacher, I have summers off and will soon be working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime, and quality attention. During the school year, I’m also an early bird and start my mornings with an average 2-mile walk with my own dog, so staying active and keeping pets on a routine is something I truly enjoy.
