My preference is to house sit while I pet sit, so that all of my care and attention goes to your pets exclusively. I am sensitive to cigarette smoke, so I am only able to sit for smoke-free homes. I also prefer homes with a yard, as it’s hard on my body to go on frequent walks or go down multiple flights of apartment stairs. Thank you for understanding. I do have other streams of income, and several days of the week, I am out for several hours at a time. For instance, I currently work in my church’s nursery on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, and I have accepted a teaching job for the 2025/2026 school year, so I will gone be during regular school hours plus drive time depending on where you live. If you’re okay with your pets being left alone that long and just having me stay the night and feeding them breakfast and dinner, then I think we will be a good fit.

Whenever I meet a new family, I always do a meet and greet with the pets so they get to know me before I come to stay and care for them. I ask the families to leave me with detailed written instructions so that I know exactly what to feed them and when, if they have any meds, or any other special needs. I like to send pictures and videos too.

A typical day looks like letting them out after waking up, and if they have a morning meal, I prepare them while they're outside. We eat, we relax, we play with toys, and we go outside. If they have an evening meal, I prepare that, they eat, and then go outside once more before bed.

Hello! Welcome to my profile! I’m so glad you are taking the time to get to know me. You’ll see this further down my profile, but I am a teacher in Cedar Hill, and am gone several hours a day. If your pets will be okay while I’m at work, I’d love to sit for you. We have always had dogs and cats in the house. We were taught to treat animals with kindness and respect as well as love. I will love and care for your pets as if they were my own. I have a couple of repeat clients and I love the bond I have with their pets.

Meagan was absolutely wonderful with Holly and Dolly! She stayed in our home while we were away for a week, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Knowing our girls were being cared for by someone so kind, responsible, and attentive gave us complete peace of mind. Meagan kept us updated with pictures and videos throughout the week, which meant so much to us and allowed us to truly enjoy our trip without worrying. It was obvious that Holly and Dolly were comfortable, happy, and receiving lots of love and attention. Finding someone you can trust with both your pets and your home is priceless, and Meagan exceeded our expectations.
