Private Care, One Dog at a Time
Hi there! I’ve been caring for animals on Rover for almost a year now as a Star Sitter, but I’m not new to caring for animals in general. My dog of 17 years recently passed away, and I miss having that daily companionship. I’ve had pets my whole life, over 30 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, including senior pets, and I have a big heart for all animals. I offer private, one-on-one care, so your pup gets my full attention rather than sharing me with other dogs. I work from home and love getting outside for walks or park visits, so your pup will get plenty of attention and exercise. I know how special our furry friends are, and I’d treat yours like one of my own.

Winnie’s second visit with Meagan was great! Meagan actually had another dog staying with her for part of the day this time and was still willing to accommodate us, but she had us come by first to meet the other dog. It was really nice to see how seriously she takes the safety and comfort of all the dogs in her care. She had great communication throughout, and Winnie came home tired from all the fun. Winnie can’t wait to visit again!
Megan and her husband are great with dogs! She kept me updated throughout my Charlie’s stay. We will use them for sitting anytime we are in Niagara.
Meagan is an absolute dream sitter! She’s super responsive, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring, not only making sure my crazy pup had the best day, but also making sure I felt totally at ease leaving my baby with her. She somehow managed to tire out my little nonstop pupper, gave him ALL the cuddles and attention, and kept me updated with just the perfect amount of messages throughout the day. We use daycare pretty regularly, and this was easily one of the best experiences my doggo has had in a while. He came home happy, tired, and clearly already planning his next visit. We’ll 100% be back, and I honestly can’t recommend Meagan highly enough! Your pup will be in very good hands.

Megan is absolutely amazing! She always send videos and pictures and has taken such good care of our Charlie! It really makes things stress free for me when I travel! Thank you!

Schedule
I work full-time from home, so I have a flexible schedule for pet care. I love getting outside for walks during lunch and in the evenings—walking your dog would bring me just as much joy as it brings them!

Safety, trust & environment
I love stopping by clients’ homes to give their pets a chance for a pee break and some company. Being greeted with a wagging tail always makes my day! I’m happy to top up food and water, play in the backyard, and make sure everything’s clean and comfortable before I go.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We’ll play with their favourite toys, check out all the new smells in the neighbourhood, and explore a big park or the lake side trails.
