Scooby loves making new friends!
I grew up on a farm in a small town in Massachusetts and have taken care of animals for my whole life - dogs, cats, and horses - I am an animal lover through and through! My family has had all types of dogs - yellow labs, Cairn terriers, & Westies, but I truly became a dog mom when I rescued my first dog two years ago at 7 weeks old. Scooby is a 2 y/o chow-beagle mix from Alabama. He is very friendly, loves people and gets along with all other dogs, and children! I have caretaking experience from watching other friends' and neighbors' dogs as well - Scooby loves any excuse for a playdate.

Meagan and John were amazing with Pepper! She sent lots of updates and photos and made our nervous Pepper feel right at home and us at ease while we were away. Their dog Scooby is very sweet and got along great with Pepper. Will definitely have Pepper stay with them again!
Meg did phenomenally watching our dog for us! Our pup is so comfortable staying with her and Scooby, it’s as if he’s on a little vacay of his own.

Schedule
I live in a very safe area in Hoboken and I recently went back to office 5 days a week so I don't have the WFH flexibility I used to, but I'm usually free during evenings or weekends if you ever need for last-minute plans or boarding! :)

Safety, trust & environment
I am extremely safe and careful with my dog Scooby, and I would keep your pet safe at all times. Pets are family and should be treated with the utmost care. If I'm walking your dog, I would walk him/her separately from Scooby so I could focus all of my attention on your loved one. Scooby gets along with every dog he's encountered and everyone falls in love with him instantly, but if there were any issues I would separate & alert you immediately. From my experience in the last 2 years, your dog will leave happy and tired - ready to sleep for hours after a day with me and Scooby :)
Pets
A typical day
I have a spacious apartment with tons of toys for playtime if the weather isn't great for outdoor play, but if it's a nice day I can take your dog the nearby park for fetch and/or play with other friendly, safe dogs. If you prefer walks over dog parks, I love long walks through Hoboken. I've also had a lot of experience with all types of dog personalities, so I know when to avoid other dogs by crossing the street, and I always air on the side of caution to prevent any conflicts.
