Your dog's new best friend!
I have grown up surrounded by many dogs in my life, and treat them like family. I have volunteered at the Tampa Bay humane society and am a regular volunteer with the Mid Florida Golden Retriever Rescue. I am a dog lover and will treat your dogs with the kindness they deserve. I have five golden retrievers and a miniature dachshund between my family and I here in the Tampa area so it’s safe to say I love being around dogs. I am comfortable with dogs of every age, we have reached seniors before and it’s something my family and I are very passionate about. I moved back to the Tampa area during Covid from NYC and I am excited to be back in the city I’ve always called home. I can’t wait to meet all the wonderful pets Tampa has to offer! I promise to treat your pups with the utmost respect and have a blast with each and every dog I meet! Dogs deserve the world and I can't wait to share my love with them on countless walks and play dates!

Meagan was really kind and accommodating with my special needs dog. He got an upset stomach and she was up taking him out every hour all night.

Meagan is absolutely wonderful with both of our dogs (Blitz the Rottweiler and Bandit the Frenchie). It is clear from the way her face lights up that she loves spending time with our dogs, and they must have sensed it because they are both excited to see her.
A perfect experience!
Meagan was available on relatively short notice to house sit for our two cats while we were away. She came to meet them and walk through their routine (which includes medication) before we left and was quick to provide updates to reassure us while we were away. Overall a very positive experience!

Schedule
I work from home 3 days a week and am available on most weekends. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and think they deserve to go for long walks and explore outside just as much as us humans! When I work from home I am fully able to hang out with your furry loved ones! My weekends are always flexible for requests as well.

I care for pets as if they are my own, whether they are in my home or I am in a clients home. It is very hard to leave your pets home alone or with a stranger, because they are our family members. I truly understand this and guarantee your pets will be in wonderful hands with me. They will be my family when they are in my care.

A typical day
A typical day with your fur baby will include plenty of love, attention, walks, and playtime! I’ll make sure we get outside for walks and some fun, while always being mindful of the heat and adjusting our activity based on the weather. We’ll also have plenty of downtime to relax and hang out in my apartment. Whether your pup wants to play, cuddle up next to me, nap, or simply follow me around, they’ll get lots of company and attention throughout the day. Most importantly, I’ll treat your fur baby like they’re my own. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone while traveling, so my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while you’re away.

- I’d love to know a little about your fur baby! What breed are they, what is their personality like, and how do they typically do around other dogs? I have a 4-year-old Golden Retriever, Gingy, who is very sweet and loves having friends around. I don’t have any breed preferences at all. I grew up with Golden Retrievers and Dachshunds, so I’m especially familiar with those breeds, but I’m happy to care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. The more you can tell me about your pup’s routine, quirks, and what makes them happiest, the better I can make them feel at home! (Same goes for cats too!)
